The Refuge de Tête Rousse is a mountain hut located near Mont Blanc. It serves as a base for mountaineers who are attempting ascents of Mont Blanc. The hut is situated at an altitude of approximately 3,167 m (10,394 ft) and provides a place for climbers to rest, acclimatize, and prepare for the challenging climb of Mont Blanc.
The Tête Rousse Hut is often used by climbers following the Goûter Route, one of the more common and accessible routes to the summit of Mont Blanc. It is typically used as an overnight stop, as the ascent to the summit usually begins very early in the morning from this point.
The initial day focuses on the approach to our acclimatization activity. The activity itself will be determined based on both the mountain conditions and your experience level. Our preferred acclimatization climbs include Arête des Cosmiques, Aiguille du Tour, or Monte Rosa. We’ll meet in Chamonix and start with a ride on the Aiguille du Midi cable car and spend the night in a high-altitude mountain hut.
