about Camino Portugues Bike Tour: Cycle the Coastal Route

Experiencing the Camino, Portugal and Spain on two wheels, simply the BEST. I have been fortunate to have enjoyed many bike tours. This one was exceptional: varied terrain along scenic route, powerful, easy to ride E bike, marvelous lodging, (castle, fortress, villa). The best: four caring, competent guides, who put safety first, followed by a lot of fun and laughs. Value added: included pre ride day ( time adjustment), winery tour, historic sites, tabas lunch, hot springs.

about Alentejo Cycling Holidays: Discover Portugal on Bikes

We did a cycle tour. 5 nights at the farmhouse and guided cycles daily. The accommodation at the farmhouse is cosy with our room having a lovely balcony to relax after the daily cycle. Our guides were great and we had interesting days despite the extremely hot unseasonal weather in October.

We hired electric bikes and I was very glad of this as there were lots of undulating roads. We mostly used quieter country roads. Breakfasts daily at the farmhouse were great. We also met some travellers who were on one of the companies guided tours who sounded like they had had a wonderful time . Overall I would very much recommend this company if you are looking for a great cycling or other adventure.

The Douro River bike tour in Portugal by bike and boat was an unforgettable experience. We explored the countryside by bike and visited many historical places and vineyards. The overnight stays on the boat were very comfortable and the food was really delicious. The guides were also super knowledgeable and told us a lot about the region and its culture. If you want to experience Portugal from a different perspective, this trip is for you.

It was not until she had the opportunity to walk the Camino for the first time that she understood the reason why so many people are attracted to it. Having walked the full Camino Frances, Silvia became enamored with the legends and stories of Camino. She currently lives in Galicia, working as a Camino guide and sharing her passion for it with people coming from all around the globe.
