The camp begins with a scenic 3.5-hour taxi ride (not included) from Barcelona to the charming village of Erill la Vall. Upon arrival, we’ll check into our accommodations and have some time to settle in and get organized. In the evening, there’s a camp briefing to outline the week ahead and ensure everything is in place. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a picnic in the area (at our own expense) and explore a nearby bouldering spot for a relaxed introduction to the local climbing environment.
This Pyrenees climbing women-only camp is best suited for climbers with good fitness levels and solid climbing skills. You should be comfortable climbing routes rated 5.9 (V+) and have the stamina and strength for multiple days of rock climbing.
If you’re familiar with climbing at higher grades, such as 5.10c-5.11a (6b-6c), and the group shares a similar skill level, the itinerary can be tailored to provide more challenging climbs so that everyone gets the most out of their adventure.
