The granite in the Catalan Pyrenees doesn’t give freebies—it makes you dig deep, then rewards you tenfold. Over five days, we’ll tackle increasingly pumpy lines, leveling up our head game on some raw, technical terrain. Based in Erill la Vall, a chill village at the doorstep of Aigüestortes National Park, we’ll embrace pure granite climbing with a crew of women who are all about going the extra pitch. Every session will test our grit—on the wall and within ourselves. Let’s see what we’re made of.

The adventure, day by day

Ready to crush some prime Pyrenean granite? Join this 5-day women-only climbing camp in the Catalan Pyrenees for three full days of sending on pristine rock. We'll kick off with dinner arriving in Erill la Vall, then hit different sectors each day to work everything from techy faces to longer pitches. We might even squeeze in some bouldering or hiking on the first or last day! An experienced local guide brings deep knowledge of the area and handles the technical setups. All technical climbing gear is provided, accommodation and all meals are sorted already, so you can focus on what matters: crushing some epic lines!

Day 1: Arrival in Erill La Vall
Erill la Vall, a small Pyrenean village

Make your way from Barcelona to the small village of Errill la Vall and plan to arrive between 10am and 12pm. After settling into our accommodation and getting a program overview, we’ll head to the climbing area to explore the site and enjoy a picnic. Each person should bring their own picnic and snacks for this day. As this is the first day, there will be time to prepare our backpacks, organize our gear, and rest from the journey. We’ll have dinner at 8pm.

Meals: Dinner
Accommodation: Hostal La Plaza

Day 2: First full climbing day
Climbing gear and people in the background

After breakfast, we leave the accommodation around 9:30am with all our gear, backpacks, and snacks. We’ll spend our day building confidence on the rock and share the experience without rushing. We’ll return to our hostel around 3:30-4pm.

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner
Accommodation: Hostal La Plaza

Day 3: Progression and confidence

We leave the accommodation at 9:30am after breakfast, bringing all our gear, backpacks, and snacks. We’ll spend the day climbing, improving our technique, ensuring everyone feels comfortable on the rock, and simply enjoying the natural surroundings. We expect to return to the accommodation around 3:30–4pm.

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner
Accommodation: Hostal La Plaza

Day 4: Last full climbing day
Climber with gear gripping onto a steep rock face

We’ll start the day with breakfast and leave at 9:30am with all our gear. This is our last full day of climbing, where we aim to see our progression and feel more solid on the granite. The most important part is to enjoy the experience without pressure. We’ll return to the accommodation around 3:30–4pm and reflect on our achievements of the past days.

Meals: Breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner
Accommodation: Hostal La Plaza

Day 5: Climbing/bouldering and departure

It’s our last day in the Pyrenees, but we still have half a day to climb, boulder, or enjoy our picnic in nature. The plan will be decided the day before, but we aim to make the most of this last morning together. The camp officially ends between 2:30–3pm, but you can plan the rest of your day depending on your your transport arrangements.

Meals: Breakfast and picnic lunch
