Join us for an unforgettable journey through Norway's Lofoten Islands! Over 8 days, we'll tackle four breathtaking hikes, kayak through clear blue fjords, and explore charming fishing villages. Our adventure blends physical challenge with cultural immersion, offering a perfect taste of Arctic beauty and Norwegian life. We've taken care of all the details, from cozy accommodations in hotels and traditional Rorbuer to a full board of fresh, locally-sourced meals. With expert guides, pre-arranged transportation during the tour, and a balance of activities and free time, you'll fully embrace everything Lofoten has to offer.

  • Welcome to the gateway of the Lofoten Islands! You’ll meet your guides in the lobby of your waterfront hotel in Bodø. We’ll kick off our adventure with introductions and an energizing group dinner. Your guides will brief you on the exciting week ahead, setting the tone for our hiking journey.

  • Rise early to pick up our packed breakfast and lunch before we catch the ferry to Moskenes and enjoy a 3-4 hour cruise across Vestfjorden. Upon arrival, we’ll tackle our first hike: Reinebringen. This iconic trail features steps constructed by Nepalese Sherpas, leading to one of Lofoten’s most breathtaking viewpoints. After celebrating our summit, we’ll relax at a local cafe before heading to our traditional Rorbu—a cozy, restored fisherman’s cabin that will be our home for the night.

Over four hours, we’ll glide past towering mountains, spot local wildlife, and marvel at the rugged beauty of Lofoten from sea level. It’s a change of pace that will work different muscles and offer new perspectives on this stunning archipelago. We’ll return to our Rorbu in the afternoon for a traditional, locally sourced dinner.

  • Today combines two of Lofoten’s gems: a pristine beach and a summit with unparalleled views. We’ll start with a short 45-minute hike to Kvalvika beach before ascending Mount Ryten. From the top, you’ll be treated to a panorama showcasing everything Lofoten is famous for: turquoise fjords, white sand beaches, and jagged peaks. For those feeling less energetic, the option to relax on the beach is always there. We’ll end our day at a modern hotel with waterfront views and a steamy hot tub at our disposal. If we’re lucky, we may catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights!

  • We’ll enjoy a leisurely breakfast before our second-to-last hike: the ascent to Mount Hoven. A direct path up and down will give us plenty of beach time. If we’re feeling bold, we’ll grab our swimsuits and dip above the Arctic Circle! Those of us who’d rather stay dry can chat over coffee and soak up the scenery. We’ll cap off the day with a special 3-course Norwegian dinner.

  • After breakfast, a 30-minute transfer to Henningsvær starts our final hike to Festvågtind. Today’s plan is flexible—we can aim for the summit or opt for a midway viewpoint, depending on the group’s energy and weather conditions. Either way, we’ll get a unique view of the small inhabited islands of Henningsvær. In the afternoon, we’ll explore Henningsvær, an iconic town with a population of just 500 people. Known for its climbing school and artisanal shops, it’s the perfect place for a bit of culture and maybe a well-deserved treat from a local bakery. After filling up on fantastic seafood, we’ll drive to our second Rorbu and final accommodation change in Kabelvåg. Evening dips in the ocean are encouraged!

It’s a unique opportunity to connect with the local culture and understand why people have called these remote islands home for centuries.
