Get ready for lodge based skiing in pristine Callaghan Country

Even though Callaghan Country is a 90-minute drive from Vancouver, when you arrive at the remote Journeyman Lodge, you’ll feel like you’re far more remote part of British Columbia. The lodge is a perfect base for amazing ski touring, great food, and luxurious accommodations. Get 5 days of skiing but only miss 3 days of work. If you’re looking for an easy-to-access, lodge-based ski touring trip this winter, you’ve found it.

The lodge is in the heart of British Columbia’s Coast Mountains, deep in the Upper Callaghan Basin at 4,500′ (1,370m) above sea level. Guests arrive at the lodge via snowcat. The lodge has all of the comforts of home and more — in a pristine skier’s paradise. There are great family style meals, the lodge is warm and cozy and there’s even a wood-fired sauna for après.

The Callaghan has huge terrain with unlimited potential

With 3,500 hectares of amazing skiing just outside the door, the Callaghan has limitless potential. From majestic old growth forests to high alpine glaciers, there’s great skiing for every ability and fitness level. Each day after breakfast, skis are put on at the front door and you will follow your ACMG certified guides into mountains.
