• How fit do I need to be?

  While no specific hiking experience is needed, good fitness and a readiness for steep, rocky terrain are essential.

  Hikes can be tailored to suit the preferences and energy levels of you and your group, but keep in mind that you’ll be hiking for 5 days in a row on occasionally challenging terrain. Your experienced guide will be there every step of the way, offering encouragement and ready to adjust the pace as needed to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. • What do I need to bring?

  Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

  • • Day pack large enough to carry anything you might need throughout the day (around a 25-40L bag)
    • Hiking poles — optional
    • Water bottle or hydration bladder (2L capacity)
    • Lightweight hiking boots or shoes
    • Comfortable hiking clothes
    • Warm cardigan
    • Spare clothes for layering
    • Swimwear
    • Wind and waterproof rain jacket
    • Sunhat
    • Toiletries (sunscreen, hand sanitizer, bug spray, toilet paper, etc.)
    • Sunglasses
    • Camera — optional (but recommended)

  Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

    • This women’s hiking retreat operates even if only one person signs up—there is no minimum number of participants required. The maximum number of participants is set at 20.
    • The standard price is based on single occupancy rooms.

• Is a single occupancy room available?

  Single occupancy rooms are the standard for this adventure. Traveling with a friend or partner and you’d like to share a room with them? Enjoy a special discount when you choose to share a room at checkout.

• Getting there and meeting location

  To get to your women’s hiking retreat in Norway, you have to reach Molde. Molde is a small town on the western coast of Norway and there’s an airport serving it—Molde Airport (MOL). Driving from Oslo is also an option, though it takes 8 hours.

  Make sure you land in Molde no later than 6 pm on Day 1. Your guides will come pick you up from the airport, which is just 10 minutes away from the city. If you’re arriving a day earlier, or this timeframe doesn’t suit you, you can also take public transportation or a taxi to reach the city.

• Safety measures and insurance

• Deposits and cancellation policy

  Deposits

  Secure your spot with a 30% deposit upon booking! The remaining 70% of the trip price must be paid 90 days prior to departure at the latest. If booking within 90 days of departure, the full amount is required at the time of booking.

  Cancellations

  Booking fees are non-refundable after a 48-hour grace period. During checkout, however, you can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options—Basic, Flexible, or Super Flexible. Depending on which one you choose, a different cancellation policy will apply to your booking.

  Basic

  • • If cancelled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
    • If cancelled 60 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
    • If cancelled within 59 days of departure, no refund will be issued.

  Flexible

  • • If cancelled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
    • If cancelled 60 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
    • If cancelled 30-59 days before departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
    • If cancelled within 29 days of departure, no refund will be issued.
