You come to Niseko for one reason—Japow. Not just any powder, but the kind that billows, floats, and leaves you grinning like a kid on a snow day. We’re talking backcountry access without the slog—lifts up, deep turns down. No wasting time, no second-guessing—just following the expert guides straight to the secret stashes and dreamy lines waiting behind Niseko’s backcountry gates. One epic day, unlimited powder potential. Legs burning? Maybe. Stoke level? Off the charts. See you at the top!
Niseko’s backcountry gates open up a whole new world of powder, and we’re here for every last turn. With lift access doing the heavy lifting, we’ll skip the long hikes and head straight for the good stuff—deep, untouched lines, playful tree runs, and that dreamy Japow float. Every run is about chasing the best conditions, adapting to the snow, and making the most of the day. No stress, no second-guessing—just pure backcountry bliss. We’ll show up, strap in, and drop into the kind of snow we’ll be talking about for years.
We booked two days with Niseko Zen during our one week stay in Niseko: totally worth it!
Even if you are very experienced in Backcountry riding: the climate in Hokkaido is unpredictable and the guides from Niseko Zen just know where the Conditions are best. Huge thanks to Torin for even letting us set a Skin Track ourselves and just showing us the general direction! (We were a group of 5 experienced Backcountry riders from Switzerland)
