E-MTB Holidays in Andalucía: Ride Secret Trails From a Family Farm

In Spain’s western Sierra, where Andalusia’s plains meet ancient cork forests, there’s a 19th-century working farm hiding the perfect mountain bike basecamp. Based out of an organic farm, we’ll spend five full days linking whitewashed villages through hidden valleys on quality e-MTBs. Between rides, we’ll taste jamón aged in hillside cellars, swim in forgotten river pools, and trace paths Moorish kings once rode. Our days begin and end with farm-to-table meals, while the private pools by our restored cottages offer perfect recovery for tomorrow’s trails. This quiet corner of Spain knows all about the good life: fast trails, slow meals, and just the right balance between the two.

I loved my stay at here in May 2024.
Every animal on the farm has its own personality (including our wonderful hosts, Daisy & Eliot). The e-bike adventures were beautiful, fun and a great way to earn the delicious food served on the farm table each evening.
I stayed in the chestnut cottage, the room was so cute and the pool was the best place to cool off after a hot bike ride.
I can’t wait to go back!

    Choose the E-Ride Explorer if:

      • You’re a regular cyclist or have a good base fitness, but aren’t a dedicated mountain biker
      • You’re comfortable with some singletrack but prefer a mix of wider tracks and roads
      • You want to focus on the experience—the scenery, the food, the culture—with riding that’s challenging but not technical

    Choose the E-Ride Challenger if:

      • You mountain bike regularly and are confident on blue-to-red terrain
      • You can lift your front wheel to clear obstacles, handle drop-offs, and corner at speed
      • You want the week to push your skills, with trails that get progressively more technical as the week goes on

Not sure? If you’ve mostly ridden gravel or road bikes with some occasional trail riding, go Explorer. If you spend weekends on flow trails and bike park blues, go Challenger.

  • There are two difficulty levels for this Andalucía e-MTB holiday, check the breakdown below to find your fit. In general, you’ll cover 39–48 km (24–30 miles) per day, with 800–1,400 m (2,625–4,593 ft) of elevation gain, but please note that day-by-day breakdowns are estimates and may be adjusted.

    E-Ride Explorer

      • Good fitness required—you should be comfortable in the saddle for 4–5 hours a day, for 5 consecutive days
      • Some mountain biking experience needed: basic handling skills like progressive braking, gear management, and riding in attack position
      • Terrain is a mix of 4×4 tracks, quiet roads, and singletrack with small obstacles—comparable to mostly green with a few blue sections in a bike park

    E-Ride Challenger

      • Great fitness required—similar daily distances and elevation, but the riding is more demanding
      • Solid MTB skills required: confident cornering, progressive braking, trackstand, front wheel lift to clear obstacles, drop-offs
      • Fully off-road, tailored to the group, and built to progress in technical difficulty throughout the week—comparable to blue-to-red bike park terrain

The e-assist takes the sting out of the climbs on both itineraries, but you should be comfortable handling a 25 kg (55 lbs) bike on varied terrain. Minimum height requirement of 156 cm (5’1″) for proper bike fit.
