Our guide, Ivan was excellent. He managed a group of differing ages and fitness levels very well and was always interested and interesting.

As we prepared to leave we contemplated our amazing adventure and sense of accomplishment. Thank you to Nuyama for great organizational skills, prompt responses, sound advice along the way and the perfect for us choices of routes for each day. As we interacted with hosts and fellow hikers it became obvious Nuyama has built solid relationships and is highly respected. We felt confident doing this hike self guided because of our own experience and the support given. Thank you Nuyama! Experience of a lifetime!!

It was a great 5 days walking, and our group of 5 all felt it was a moderate to tough walk at times. Early October – Good time of year to walk 23-25 degrees each day..wonderful towns and villages along the way. Via Francigena was not busy and the terrain was hard on the feet ( some blisters!) at times, so definitely wear good walking shoes.. Take a stick for some of the climbs and surfaces. There are often 2 routes out of the towns and we always took the more scenic route which meant we covered 127km and not the 110k advertised. Signposts were pretty good all the way and we are glad we forwarded our big luggage each day.
Overall a great walk ending in historic Rome!. We stayed on for 3 days to see some sights and do some more walking !!.

Fortunate to of experienced 4 or 5 trips with walking women. Love the diversity of trips, the choices, ability to spend time withing the group of extraordinary women or time independently. Nothing is missed, such a treat to have everything planed for you. Would highly recommend to all.

Amazing experience. The Dolomites are special place. Using Dolomite Mountains really takes all of the legwork and uncertainty out of the trip so you can focus on having fun. Probably exchanged two or three emails and before I knew it I was all set to have the trip of a lifetime.

I was looking forward to the experiences/adventures of hiking in the region of the Pre-Alps at the foot of the Dolomites because of how beautiful the area is. It was obvious throughout the tour how much this area means to Piero. The trip far exceeded any expectations. Piero is the consummate guide: knowledgeable, patient, spontaneous, flexible, and more. The pleasure he gains from planning surprises or continually having new ideas to add more interest or fun is indeed a gift to us. Each day was amazing. I not only wholeheartedly recommend Piero’s tour and I’m planning to return in 2024.

I recently did the guided tour of the cinque terre. I don’t often provide feedback but this tour was amazing. You can’t go wrong when you have a back drop of the cinque terre but what made the tour was the very knowledgable guide Stefano. His knowledge of the Cinque Terre walks, history and nature was fantastic, he was always willing to answer our questions. It was great having an Italian guide, not only did we learn about the region but also Italian culture in general. The food and accommodation was also very good.
