Monte realized he can’t stay away from the mountains, so he traded in a civil engineering career for an alpine kit. He’s a Squamish-based AMGA/IFMGA Mountain Guide, and owner of
Black Sheep Adventure Sports, a guiding service that takes him and his clients all over the world. In the summers, he’s alpine climbing on the west coast of Canada. During the winter, you’ll find him skiing and guiding in Japan, as well as finding new rock routes or powder to shred.
