Itinerary

Few places in the world are as enticing for a summer holiday as the Mediterranean is. And there's no better way to explore these waters and islands than by hopping aboard a sailboat and discovering different islands every day. This 8-day sail & e-bike tour in Croatia does just that! Departing from Trogir, you'll pedal your way through the islands of Hvar, Brač, Vis, Šolta, and Korčula, and visit the world-famous Split. But cycling is not all you're going to do—there's going to be an optional rafting outing as well as plenty of swimming and tanning! A major focus of this tour is on the food, as your boat crew and your guides will make sure you taste Croatia's best-ofs. Ready for a sun-soaked holiday next summer?

  • Meet your guide and your team at the harbor in Trogir between 2 and 2:30 pm. Set sail right away at 3 pm towards the island of Hvar! Stari Grad is the second largest settlement on the island and a well known harbor. This is where you’ll spend the night and get to meet your team, crew, and guides.

A high angle view of the Old Town of Trogir, with stone buildings and church in the foreground, while its newer buildings on the mainland are in the background divided by a channel of water containing yachts and tour boats, with a picturesque waterfront recreation area.
  • After breakfast, set off on a bike tour from Stari Grad to the capital city of Hvar. You will have plenty of time on arrival to marvel at the magnificent Renaissance Square and enjoy the view up from the Spanish Fortress, perched high up above the city. Return to your boat and cross over to the island of Vis. Spend the night there.

    Distance: 12.5 miles / 20 km

    Hvar town fortress
  • Vis is the furthermost inhabited island from mainland Croatia. Its history goes 2,300 years back, when it was a Greek colony called Issa. Due to its strategic location, it was a military zone until 1995, prohibited for foreign tourists—but today, you have the opportunity to explore this lovely island by bike. After a day out cycling, return to the boat and head towards Korčula. Overnight stay in Vela Luka.

    Distance: 20 miles / 32 km

    Vis, Croatia
  • Today you’ll discover the island of Korčula on two wheels and enjoy the calmness and remoteness of the island, as well as its lush vegetation and cypress gardens. The tour will lead you to the village of Blato, built like an amphitheater on hills, and then across Pupnat Bay and finally to Korčula town. You will have enough time to walk through the wonderful old town with its narrow, fishbone-built alleys and streets. Spend the night docked in Korčula.

    Distance: 37.5 miles / 60 km

    Korčula town
  • Cruise to the island of Brač, famous for its radiant precious limestone that was, among others, used for the White House in Washington and the Reichstag in Berlin. After an extended swim break followed by lunch, you’ll start cycling from Pučišča. An initial climb will reward you with fantastic views over the neighboring islands before descending to the harbor of Postira. From here, take the coastal road back to the boat in Pučišća, where you’ll spend the night. This quaint harbor town is home to the most famous stone mason schools in Croatia and the works of students are displayed throughout town.

    Distance: 28 miles / 45 km

    Zlatni rat, Bol
  • Enjoy your breakfast while the boat takes you to the city of Split, a historical town safekeeping the former Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian. Today you have a choice to either take a bus to go rafting through the Cetina Canyon or to explore the wonderful Marjan forest above Split by bike. If you choose to go rafting, you will follow the river downstream and gain a unique perspective of the canyon, its flora, and its fauna. Those who decide to stay in Split will explore the verdant heart of the town, after which they’ll go to the beach. Later on, you can reunite and explore the bustling city of Split together. Spend the night there and if you’re up for it, get a taste of Split’s nightlife!

    Distance: 10 miles / 17 km

    Split, Croatia town
  • After crossing over to Rogač on the island of Šolta, you will commence the final cycling tour! Walled fields, endless olive groves, fig trees, and the scent of rosemary are lining the roads on which you’ll be pedaling. Your boat will await you in Maslinica, and you’ll enjoy your final crossing back to Trogir. If you get there early enough, you can take a tour of the old town—a world heritage site! Enjoy your final dinner in a cozy atmosphere and say your goodbyes to your team and the crew.
