Ready for some bella vita? Join a small group of women for an unforgettable 8-day hiking tour in the heart of the Dolomites. We'll base ourselves in Cortina d'Ampezzo and explore the mountains over five days of hiking and one via ferrata adventure. Our expert local guide will take us to all the best spots while sharing stories of these ancient peaks. With 4-star comfort, breakfasts and trail lunches, and airport transfers taken care of, all that’s left is to lace up your boots and hit the trails!

  • From Venice airport, a private group transfer will take us to our hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo. After settling in at our hotel, we’ll meet our guide for dinner.

  • Our first hiking day takes us to the iconic Cinque Torri, a historic site where WWI soldiers once sought refuge in hidden tunnels. The five distinctive towers of rock have since become famous for their excellent rock-climbing spots.

    Our trail continues through rugged terrain and alpine meadows as we ascend toward Rifugio Nuvolau, one of the Dolomites’ oldest mountain huts. Along the way, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Marmolada and Tofana peaks. At the hut, we can savor both the scenery and a warm cappuccino before our descent.

  • Today we’ll climb the Via Ferrata near the renowned Tre Cime di Lavaredo. We’ll navigate WWI tunnels and limestone formations as we make our way to the summit of Monte Paterno. From there, we’ll get unmatched views of Tre Cime and the surrounding jagged peaks.

    Note: If some participants prefer not to do the Via Ferrata, an alternative route can be arranged.

  • Today we’ll hike through forest paths to reach Lago di Sorapis, one of the Dolomites’ most striking alpine lakes. The trail leads us through dense woods and rewards us with scenic views until we reach the top, where we’ll get a beautiful view of the lake’s crystal-clear waters framed by rugged Dolomite peaks.

  • We’ll start the morning by taking the lift from Cortina to Cima Tofana (Tofana di Mezzo), the highest peak around Cortina d’Ampezzo at 3,244 m (10,643 ft). After taking in the panorama of surrounding peaks, we’ll return to Cortina for a free afternoon to explore its historic streets, shops, and cafes.

  • Today we’ll follow less-traveled trails to Malga ra Stua, a charming mountain hut in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Natural Park. Our route passes through alpine meadows, dense forests, and scenic trails leading to breathtaking viewpoints and waterfalls.

    Hiking: 10.5 km / 6.5 miles, shorter option: 9.8 km / 6 miles

  • Our final hiking day brings us to Lago di Braies, one of the Dolomites’ most striking alpine lakes, where emerald waters meet forest and rock walls. We’ll climb up and away from the crowds and enjoy the views. Depending on the group’s ability, we’ll choose between a loop via Spitzkofel or a longer and steeper route to Rifugio Biella.
