  • This tour is designed with flexibility in mind, it’s beginner-friendly because the level of effort is entirely up to you. The route takes you through the picturesque, mostly flat landscapes of the Seine Valley, following quiet cycle paths and small side streets with very little traffic. Over the course of the trip, the total distance covered by bike and on foot is approximately 189 km (117 mi).

    To ensure an enjoyable experience, you can choose the level of challenge that suits you best:

    • E-bike: With a high-quality Bosch or Shimano mid-mounted motor, all gradients are easily manageable. You can decide exactly how much motorized assistance you require at any moment.
    • Gravel bike: The terrain remains gentle and the daily distances are kept moderate, making the route equally enjoyable for those who prefer to pedal under their own power.

    While the cycling is accessible, you should be comfortable spending several hours in the saddle. The longest riding day covers approximately 31 mi (50 km). For the easy hike along the Alabaster Coast, we recommend bringing comfortable running shoes with a good treaded sole to navigate the coastal paths safely.

You can enjoy mineral water with main meals, specialty evenings, and flexible meal times and free choice of table in the market restaurant, day lounge, and outdoor restaurant.

    The restaurant provides buffet-style meals with live cooking throughout the day and multi-course dinners. Lunch is served either as a picnic prepared by your guides or as an onboard buffet, depending on your itinerary. Plus, all drinks are included, except for champagne, bottled wine, and exclusive rarities.

    Wine menu is tailored to the region and the Wine & Dine arrangement which includes an exclusive 5-course dinner with corresponding wines can be booked on board. If weather permits, there will be a BBQ buffet on the aft deck.

    Special dietary needs like vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free are easily accommodated, so if you have any, just let us know upon booking.

  • Premium rental bikes are included in the price of your tour, and you can choose between a versatile gravel bike or a comfortable e-bike depending on your preferred riding style.

    Gravel bike: Cannondale Topstone 2 GRX

    This is a sporty, lightweight gravel bike built with a C2 alloy frame and a Topstone Carbon fork for a responsive ride. It features a reliable Shimano GRX 400 drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes for confident handling. The bike comes equipped with WTB Riddler TCS Light tires, bottle cages, and flat pedals as standard. Upon request, we can also fit rear racks, fenders, or provide saddlebags.

    E-bike: VELO DE VILLE AEB CLASSIC

    Our e-bikes feature a convenient step-through frame for easy mounting and maximum comfort. Powered by a Bosch motor system (Active Line, Active Line Plus, or Performance Line) and a 400 Wh battery, these bikes offer a reliable range for your daily explorations. They are equipped with a smooth-shifting Shimano drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, and a suspension fork for added comfort on varied terrain. The durable Schwalbe Delta Cruiser Plus tires provide excellent puncture protection for a worry-free journey.

  • Group sizes and pricing

      • For this group Seine River bike tour, there will be at least 2 guides.
      • It takes a minimum of 8 people for this tour to operate. The maximum number of participants is set at 16.
      • If you’re a solo traveller, you’re welcome to join the tour, but paying for the single occupancy cabin is mandatory. It is not possible to join the tour solo and share the cabin with another guest.

    Cycling on the Seine River can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.

    Min. age requirements

      • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
      • Minors younger than 18 may be permitted to join the Seine River bike tour on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

    If your group has travelers under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

  • The price for this Seine River bike tour is based on twin-share cabins, but a single occupancy cabin can be arranged at an additional fee. You can add it to your booking at checkout.

    Solo travelers are welcome to join, but adding the single cabin surcharge is mandatory—this will be automatically sorted at checkout once you tell us if you’re traveling alone or with someone else.

  • To get to the Seine River, most people fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), 30 minutes from Paris. From there, you can rent a car or take a train, i.e., a shuttle service.

    Please book your flight to arrive at Paris airport no later than 3 pm to avoid the risk of arriving too late at the meeting point on board the ship at 5 pm. Otherwise, you might be unable to take part in the panorama tour.

  • To secure your spot, a deposit in the amount of 40% is required at the time of booking. The remaining amount must be paid no later than 90 calendar days prior to the trip departure.       • More than 120 days before the departure date, you are entitled to a refund in the amount of 80% of the full trip price (less the booking fees).
      • 119 to 60 days before the departure date, you are entitled to a refund in the amount of 60% of the full trip price (less the booking fees).
      • 59 to 31 days before the departure date, you are entitled to a refund in the amount of 40% of the full trip price (less the booking fees).
      • 30 to 15 days before the departure date, you are entitled to a refund in the amount of 20% of the full trip price (less the booking fees).
      • 14 to 5 days before the departure date, you are entitled to a refund in the amount of 5% of the full trip price (less the booking fees).
      • Within 4 days of the departure date, no refund will be issued.

    Please note that booking fees are non-refundable in all cases and will be deducted from the refund amount.
