  • On Day 1, you’ll make your way to your 5-star hotel in Champex-Lac, where this alpine adventure begins. You’ll settle in and meet your guide before enjoying a short warm-up ride through the picturesque surroundings. Prepare for the unforgettable journey ahead with a relaxing evening in this stunning Swiss haven.

  • Day 2 begins in beautiful Champex-Lac. After a short descent, we’ll tackle the majestic Grand Saint-Bernard Pass and taste proper Italian coffee. We’ll cross from Switzerland into Italy, relishing a sweeping descent into Aosta. Afterward, we’ll ride through the scenic valley to La Salle, where a luxurious 5-star hotel awaits to rejuvenate us after an exhilarating day.

  • We’ll start with a first ascent from La Salle to La Thuile before climbing the stunning Petit Saint-Bernard Pass into France.   • In order to join this Tour du Mont Blanc road bike adventure, excellent fitness is required. This tour is intense—days are long, but a support van will be by our side the whole way through, and it’s possible to jump in the van at any point during the day. While you don’t have to be super skilled or experienced, some basic cycling experience is still required.

  • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:

      • Day pack large enough to carry everything you might need throughout the day (around a 25-40L bag)
      • Road bike (rental possible for an additional fee)
      • Cycling clothes and gear
      • Waterproof rain jacket and windstopper
      • Cycling shoes
      • Cycling gloves — optional (but recommended)
      • Road bike helmet
      • Water bottle or hydration bladder (2L capacity)
      • Toiletries (sunscreen, hand sanitizer, etc.)
      • Sunglasses
      • Camera — optional (but recommended)

    Dress comfortably and for the weather in clothes you can move in. We suggest bringing clothing appropriate for the season. Layers are best and don’t wear jeans.

  • Group sizes and pricing

      • For this tour du Mont Blanc road bike adventure, the usual client-to-guide ratio is 4:1.
      • It takes a minimum of 2 people for this tour to operate. The maximum group size is set at 4 participants.
      • The cost per person decreases as the group grows, so it’s the perfect opportunity to bike with friends and family!

    Biking in The Alps can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.

    Min. age requirements

      • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
      • Minors from 16 to 18 may be permitted to join the bike tour on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

    If your group has bikers under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

  • The starting point of your tour du Mont Blanc road bike adventure is Champex-Lac, Switzerland. To get there, most people fly into Geneva International Airport (GVA). You can reach Champex-Lac by a car, shuttle service, or public transport.

    You will meet your guide on Day 0 in Au Club Alpin, Rte du Lac 21, 1938 Champex-Lac.

    Secure your spot with a 30% deposit upon booking! The remaining 70% of the trip price must be paid 90 days prior to departure at the latest. If booking within 90 days of departure, the full amount is required at the time of booking.

    Cancellations

    Booking fees are non-refundable after a 48-hour grace period. During checkout, however, you can choose one of 57hours’ flexibility options—Basic, Flexible, or Super Flexible. Depending on which one you choose, a different cancellation policy will apply to your booking.

      • If cancelled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
      • If cancelled 90 or more days before departure, a 70% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
      • If cancelled within 89 days of departure, no refund will be issued.

    Flexible

      • If cancelled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
      • If cancelled 90 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
      • If cancelled 60-89 days before departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
      • If cancelled within 59 days of departure, no refund will be issued.

    Super Flexible

      • If cancelled within 48 hours of booking, a full refund will be issued.
      • If cancelled 60 or more days before departure, a full refund of the total trip price will be issued.
      • If cancelled within 59 days of departure, a 50% refund of the total trip price will be issued.
