    The ship will stay in Rouen overnight, so you’ll have an opportunity to wander and immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of Rouen’s medieval streets. We’ll return to Rouen along the Seine, followed by a brief transfer back to the ship in the afternoon. In the evening, the ship continues its journey towards the Atlantic.

    We’ll cycle via Pont Neuf to explore the Tuileries Gardens and delve into the world of Monet and other Impressionists at the Orangerie during a detailed guided tour. Following lunch overlooking the Place de la Concorde and the Champs Elysées, we’ll continue biking along the Seine to the Eiffel Tower past the golden statues of the Pont Alexandre III before discovering the artistic wonders of the Rodin Museum. Admire the famous sculptor’s masterpieces like “The Kiss” and “The Thinker” before cycling back to the ship for a delightful final dinner onboard.

  • This Seine River bike tour is geared towards beginners, as you’ll be using electric bikes that can assist you significantly in case you have a lower level of fitness. On premium pedelecs equipped with Bosch or Shimano mid-mounted motors, riders have full control over assistance levels, allowing for a personalized difficulty rating based on individual fitness levels and preferences. It is entirely up to you what difficulty level you choose and whether you want to challenge yourself or simply enjoy the sights.

    You’ll cover a total distance of 189 kilometers / 118 miles by e-bike and on foot. The bike routes mostly follow cycle paths with minimal traffic, and comfortable running shoes with a good grip are recommended for the coastal hike.

    The ship boasts 99 spacious elegant cabins. There are three categories of cabins, and you can choose the one you prefer. All three cabin types are equally equipped and they have the same layout: they feature modern furnishings and amenities including air conditioning, safe, TV, fly screen, hairdryer, toilet, sauna towel, wool blanket, telephone, and bathrobe on request. The difference among cabins is the deck and the windows.

      • Category A cabins are the most basic ones—they have windows which do not open and they’re on the lowest deck.
      • Category C and D cabins have windows that can be opened, as well as a French balcony. Cabins in category D are on a deck above category C—a deck where you’ll also find a restaurant, bar, and many other amenities.
  • On your Seine River bike tour all meals are included from the moment you arrive on board until you disembark, that is, from dinner on the first day to breakfast on the last day. The culinary experience aboard includes varied buffets showcasing regional specialties and live cooking every day, complemented by afternoon cake buffets with coffee and tea. You can enjoy mineral water with main meals, specialty evenings, and flexible meal times and free choice of table in the market restaurant, day lounge, and outdoor restaurant.

    The restaurant provides buffet-style meals with live cooking throughout the day and multi-course dinners. Lunch is served either as a picnic prepared by your guides or as an onboard buffet, depending on your itinerary. Plus, all drinks are included, except for champagne, bottled wine, and exclusive rarities.

    Wine menu is tailored to the region and the Wine & Dine arrangement which includes an exclusive 5-course dinner with corresponding wines can be booked on board. If weather permits, there will be a BBQ buffet on the aft deck.

    Special dietary needs like vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free are easily accommodated, so if you have any, just let us know upon booking.

  • For your Seine River bike tour, your guides will provide e-bikes—premium pedelecs equipped with Bosch or Shimano mid-mounted motors with full control over assistance levels, so you could adjust it to your needs.

    It is not mandatory, but if you want, you can rent a helmet for 10 EUR at the checkout.

  • Group sizes and pricing

      • For this group Seine River bike tour, there will be at least 2 guides.
      • It takes a minimum of 8 people for this tour to operate. The maximum number of participants is set at 16.
      • The price of the tour is based on two people sharing a cabin. If you’re joining by yourself, you have to add the single supplement to your booking upon checkout. Your guides will do their best and see if there’s another solo traveler willing to share the cabin, but it’s unlikely.

    Cycling on the Seine River can be arranged for larger groups. Contact us to make arrangements.

    Min. age requirements

      • If you are older than 18, you’re good to go.
      • Minors younger than 18 may be permitted to join the Seine River bike tour on a case-by-case basis, but must be in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

    If your group has travelers under the age of 18, contact us prior to booking to make arrangements.

  • To get to the Seine River, most people fly into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), 30 minutes from Paris. From there, you can rent a car or take a train, i.e., a shuttle service.

    Please book your flight to arrive at Paris airport no later than 3 pm to avoid the risk of arriving too late at the meeting point on board the ship at 5 pm. Otherwise, you might be unable to take part in the panorama tour.

  • We highly recommend that you cover all your bases with both emergency medical and travel insurance.

    With medical insurance, if you have an accident or medical emergency on or off the mountain, you’ll avoid paying out of pocket for costly expenses. This covers everything from hospital treatments to emergency air transportation and more. Travel insurance covers canceled flights, natural disasters and other scenarios that may interrupt your travel plans.

    We also expect you to respect local regulations and take measures to protect yourselves, your guides, and the communities you’re traveling to.

  • The Seine River bike tour should be booked at least thirty (30) days in advance.

    A 20% deposit to secure your place is due upon booking. The remaining amount is due no later than twenty-eight (28) days before departure. Once the trip is confirmed by the guide, the cancellation policy stated below applies.

      • If Client cancels the Booking anytime prior to one hundred twenty (120) calendar days in advance of the trip contemplated by the booking, Client is entitled to a refund in the amount of seventy-five percent (75%) of trip cost.
      • For cancellations one hundred nineteen (119) to sixty (60) calendar days in advance, Client is entitled to a refund in the amount of sixty percent (60%) of the trip cost.
      • For cancellations fifty-nine (59) to thirty-one (31) calendar days in advance, Client is entitled to a refund in the amount of forty percent (40%) of the trip cost.
      • For cancellations thirty (30) to fifteen (15) calendar days in advance, Client is entitled to a refund in the amount of twenty percent (20%) of the trip cost.
      • For cancellations fourteen (14) to five (5) calendar days in advance, Client is entitled to a refund in the amount of five percent (5%) of the trip cost.
      • After that deadline or in the event that the Client doesn’t show up, Client is not entitled to any refund.
      • Any reimbursable expenses arising out of the Booking incurred by Guide prior to the date of cancellation (including but not limited to plane tickets, car rental payments, and lodging or transportation fees) are non-refundable as soon as they are incurred by the Guide.
