A total beginner or an advanced surfer—doesn’t matter, Costa Rica is THE surfing destination. Add to that restorative yoga sessions perfectly coupled with surf lessons, and you’ve got yourself an active adventure in paradise. The stunning Nosara Guiones beach will be our home for these 6 days, and we’re also happy to organize really fun optional activities for you. Horseback riding, fishing, sound healing, boat trip, cooking class, ATVs… Whatever it is, we’ll help you create your perfect Costa Rican itinerary! I won’t be only advancing your surf techniques, but as a local, I’ll also be your guide to all things Costa Rica—the food, traditions, culture, and so much more.
Welcome to Costa Rica, a true paradise for every type of surfer! The Guiones Nosara beach is welcoming to all levels—if you’re a beginner, we’ll show you the ropes and teach you the basics, and if you’re a more advanced surfer, we’ll make sure to improve your surf technique even further. Our base during these 6 days will be a lovely beach house with a pool and a bar, and apart from surf lessons, we’ll also have yoga sessions every day. And you’ll also be able to choose as many optional activities as you’d like! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to create your perfect customized Costa Rica itinerary.
Today is all about arriving in Costa Rica—once you land in the tropics, take off all those layers of winter clothes and get ready for a vacation in heaven! Pass immigration and get your passport stamp from Costa Rican authorities, and make your way to Nosara. There will be a shared shuttle from Liberia Airport at 3pm, but if you’re landing in Nosara Airport, then we can organize private transportation for you between 8am and 4pm. We’ll have a welcome meeting and talk about the days ahead! You’re welcome to join us for dinner every night—we’ll choose a different place each evening—or feel free to branch off on your own!
Accommodation: Ride on! Beach House
We have four full days of yoga and surfing ahead of us! Every day will consist of a yoga session, perfect for all levels, and surf lessons, which can also be fully adapted to your experience and skills. Our charming beach house hotel offers wonderful breakfast every morning, and as for dinner, every day we can either gather all together or you can go out on your own.
There are also plenty of optional activities we can take you to during your stay! Horseback riding, fishing trip, boat trip, private yoga class, massage, sound healing, ATVs, cooking class, turtle nesting/release tour—it’s all possible, let us know upon booking if you’d like to do any of that!

After our final breakfast at the beach house, the trip comes to an end. Departures for airports may need to be as early as 4 am, depending on your flight time, so please let us know when you are planning to leave and if you require airport transfers. If you’d like to spend some more time in Costa Rica, just ask us and we can give you recommendations or even an extension itinerary!

Our Costa Rica surf trip was a blast! Meg and Jairo were terrific and took care of all the fine details to make our trip special and specific to our liking. The best thing about this Guiones Nosara surf camp in Costa Rica is that it can be fully tailored to your level and experience! There will be daily surf lessons and yoga sessions, all of which can be adapted. All that’s required is a basic level of fitness.
Surfing
This camp allows surfers at all stages to be matched with appropriate waves for your surf level with your choice of surf instruction or surf coaching. This Nosara surf camp is known for its focus on making major improvements in a short timespan due to surf work in smaller groups for more individualized and focused training sessions each day with our professional team of experts.
Yoga
Outside of your surf practice, you will indulge in calm and intentional morning restorative yoga practice each day. This yoga practice is best led by an instructor who also surfs—your movements, positions, and deep stretches will not only increase your physical flexibility and release lactic acid build up from intense use, but it will also reset and prepare your mind for a new day of learning and progress. All guests rave about these Nosara yoga sessions (even those who are skeptical of the benefits before experiencing it)!

You can surf all day on this trip, but if you’re an adventure junkie like your guides, you’ll want to do it all and then some!
Additional activities are available as ass-onds so you can create your own customized Costa Rica adventure. Just note that some activities require a minimum number of participants to run, and the pricing may depend on the number of participants. Others have low availability so your guides have to check and be sure they can accommodate you.
There will be a list of activities upon checkout—check whatever you’d like to do, and we’ll get back to you with extra information and pricing. Additionally, if there’s anything else you’d love to do in Costa Rica, please let us know upon checkout as well, we’ll do our very best to make it happen!

Min. age requirements
To get to your Nosara surf camp, it’s best to fly into Liberia International Airport (LIR). If you fly into that airport, transfers to and from your accommodation are included. The transfer may be shared and it will be organized at a set time.
Alternatively, if you decide to fly into Nosara Domestic Airport (NOB), private transfer can be organized at an additional cost. Let us know upon booking if interested!

Deposits
You can secure one of the set dates with a 30% deposit upon booking. The remaining 70% of the trip price is to be paid 90 days prior to departure, at the latest.
