This hotel-based bike trip in the Dolomites is designed for intermediate and advanced mountain bikers. You should ride MTB regularly and be comfortable riding natural blue-level trails with varied terrain and some technical sections.
The e-MTB assistance makes the climbs significantly easier, but you should still be comfortable spending 3–5 hours on the bike and being active in the mountains for most of the day.
Trail grading can vary significantly between countries. The difficulty ratings used in Italy may not directly correspond to those in the US or Canada. As a general guideline, an Italian red-rated trail can be comparable to a black trail in North America, but this varies by region and trail.
The group can be split according to riding ability and preference, with one group focusing on singletrack, flow, and enduro-style trails, while the other enjoys a more relaxed pace on scenic doubletracks and blue or green trails. A rest-day hike is also an option for those looking to take a break from riding.
Our guides will always choose routes according to the group’s ability, weather and trail conditions. A good level of fitness is required, with 20–45 km (12.5–33.5 mi) of riding per day, 300–1500 m (985–4,900 ft) of elevation gain, and approximately 2,500–3,500 m (8,200–11,500 ft) of elevation loss.
If you’d like to turn this into a fully private trip for your group, just get in touch. Your professional guides will tailor the experience to your preferences, skill level, and goals.
