4-day tour
Unlike the 7-day tour, our base doesn’t change here—we stay in Monterosso al Mare for the whole trip, with each day’s hike bringing us back to the same hotel for the night. Monterosso is the largest of the five Cinque Terre villages—but it’s still a small coastal town, and its hotel options are limited.
Our guides will book one of a handful of quality 3-star hotels right in the village, most likely Vacanze Estive, Baia Hotel, or Hotel Marina 5 Terre. All three are comparable in comfort and price, and all put us a short walk from the waterfront.
Because availability in Monterosso is tight and confirmed only once the trip is finalized, our guides can’t guarantee which specific hotel it will be until closer to the departure date—but rest assured, it’ll be a solid, well-located base for our stay. Note that most accommodations offer twin beds, though some may not.
Solo travelers are welcome to share a room with another traveler, and single occupancy is available for an additional cost—leave us a note at checkout if interested.
7-day tour
This is a point-to-point trip, so where we sleep changes every night as we move down the coast—Riomaggiore, Monterosso, Bonassola, Deiva Marina, Sestri Levante, and Chiavari each host us for one night before Rapallo closes out the trail. Depending on the town, our guides will book a 3-star hotel, B&B, or private apartment, always chosen for its location and comfort rather than size or amenities—some of these coastal villages are simply too small to offer big hotel chains. Luggage transfers are included between every stop, so our bags are waiting at each new place without us having to carry them on the trail. Note that most accommodations offer twin beds, though some may not.
