Day 1: Arrival in Bastia and Transfer to Macinaggio

Upon arriving at Bastia airport, you’ll be transferred to Macinaggio (about a 1.5-hour drive), at the northeastern tip of Cap Corse, where your hike begins. It’s a pleasant spot with restaurants, a very good ice cream parlor near the harbor, and a long white sandy beach—ideal for a dip before you start your Corsican walking holiday.

Day 2: Macinaggio to Barcaggio

Enjoy a lovely coastal walk on the “customs officers’ path” around the top of Cap Corse. There are countless opportunities for a swim, and don’t miss a stop at the superb Genoese tower of Santa Maria. Day 3: Barcaggio to Centuri

Your evening stop, Centuri, is known for its lobsters, so treat yourself to some freshly caught seafood with a view of the charming little port.
