Hiking Adventure of Chamonix & Mont Blanc

The Alps have a way of captivating even the most seasoned hikers. And while practically every corner here is beyond magnificent, there are still some highlights at the crossroads of three countries which are not to miss. This 8-day adventure covers exactly that, and we—locals who’ve been roaming these mountains for years now—are your perfect companion for discovering the Swiss, Italian, and French portion of Mont Blanc. Every day we’ll go hunting for postcard-perfect views, we’ll pause to explore Alpine huts, and get to sample the local way of life. Every evening, we’ll return to the gorgeous Chamonix and retreat to our upscale hotel, or better yet, go for a cocktail or two.

  • There’s no better introduction to the beauty of the Alps than by witnessing panoramic views of the Mont Blanc range and the surrounding valleys. The trail winds through Alpine meadows and dense forests, providing shade and a serene atmosphere. Once we reach the top, we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views of the Aiguilles Rouges, Mont Blanc massif, and even Switzerland! The descent allows hikers to appreciate the scenery from a different perspective—take your time and enjoy the views.

There are 2 ways to hike up the Aiguillettes, both 8 km (5 miles) long. With option 1, we’ll do 760 m (2,493 ft) of ascent/descent. With the second option, we’ll gain 740 m (2,428 ft) and lose 745 m (2,462 ft) of elevation.

Rarely have I met a guide as passionate and knowledgeable as François. We visited Mer de Glace. Our guide was very educational by going back 25 centuries ago and taking us through history as if we were there.Thank you so much !
