Went on a Sedona 4 day trip in December with Sheila it was a great experience. She handled all the logistics and organization flawlessly. In addition to our wonderful hikes, each day we made side trips to a special area or town. Food was excellent. During our drives and hikes Sheila provided a wealth of information about the areas we were passing and about Sedona. in general. Her driving skills and attention on the curvy and narrow roads was impressive! She really cares about each person on the trip and has the skills to make it special and enjoyable for all. On top of that she is a lot of fun. I hope that I can plan a future trip with Sheila.

This was our second trip with Shelia and it was amazing. Sedona is a spectacular destination with lots of fun adventures. Shelia has an uncanny ability to bring a diverse group of women together and create connection and laughter. Everything about this trip was well planned and designed to perfection. Shelia curated phenomenal meals and really fun activities, including hiking, watercolor, painting, crystal bowl healing, shopping… I would highly recommend any trip with Shelia but going to Sedona is like a cherry on top! Go!!!!

Itinerary

This 4-day Sedona hiking tour offers a soul-stirring immersion into the red-rock landscapes, deep connections, and personal transformation. Over the course of this retreat, we hike through iconic trails each day (typically 3–6 miles, with some elevation), alternate our time between movement and stillness through optional yoga and meditation, and pause for surprise experiences designed to stir our awareness. We explore hidden gems—such as historic Jerome, local art galleries, and Sedona’s famed vortex sites—while weaving in fireside talks, creative practices like painting, quiet reflection, and shared meals.

  • We begin our adventure by hiking part of the Bell Trail to our lunch spot, covering about 2 miles in roughly 2 hours, with plenty of time to rest and enjoy the scenery. Afterward, we visit the Red Rock Visitor Center to get oriented to the region’s landscapes and history. In the afternoon, we check into our hotel at Sky Rock and settle into our rooms before gathering for our first group dinner at 6pm.

We’ll take 2.5–3.5 hours to hike and spend time at the summit, enjoying the expansive views and our packed lunch. Returning to Sky Rock in the afternoon, we experience a restorative sound bath or another special group activity, followed by a painting session on the terrace overlooking the red rocks. We come together again for dinner at 6pm.

Lunch will be either on the trail or back at Sky Rock, depending on timing. In the afternoon, we head to Jerome, a historic mining town turned artist haven, where we explore its unique shops and atmosphere before enjoying a delicious final group dinner at a local favorite restaurant.

Sheila
Sheila is the founder and guiding spirit behind an all-women adventure company. More than simply a hiking leader, she is someone who turned a restlessness of heart into a life of intentional adventure and soulful connection. After realizing that the life she had “on paper” didn’t feel like the one she truly wanted, she left it behind and immersed herself in nature, finding clarity, strength, and purpose on quiet trails and under wide skies. She describes Sedona as the place that cracked her open—where she felt guided to help other women do the same. Through her adventures she leads with care, safety, and deep intention, weaving together empowerment, growth, and the healing power of the natural world.

If you have the chance you should absolutely take a trip with Sheila! The trips are well planned with a nice balance of activities and downtime to make a great active vacation. We enjoyed beautiful hikes, delicious meals, and thoughtfully planned surprise activities. People of all athletic abilities were able to choose shorter or longer hikes as desired or alternative yoga and meditation. The accommodations were very comfortable and had stunning views of Sedona. Sheila is a wonderful guide and leads her trips in a way that makes everyone feel comfortable and included. She bring so much experience to her trips. You’ll come home feeling refreshed, inspired, and already dreaming about your next adventure with her.
