Named after the Father of the National Parks, The John Muir Trail holds a special place in every West Coast hiker’s heart.
But what lies beyond the iconic footpath?
The journey from Yosemite Valley to Mt. Whitney is packed with spectacular sights to see and things to do. But, if you only focus on following the trail, you’ll miss out on gorgeous unmapped trails, secret campsites, swims in alpine lakes, 12,000-foot peaks, and some of the most spectacular panoramas in the Sierra Nevada.
This FREE WEBINAR, led by backpacking pioneer Christopher Casado, will be your gateway to this untouched paradise.

After getting turned on to the Sierra when he was young, Christopher did the John Muir Trail a few years later before heading off to Notre Dame for undergrad, and then UC San Diego for grad school. Since then, He’s worked as a finance professional and entrepreneur in the Bay Area where he lives with his growing family in Orinda, CA. He co-founded TSX Challenge with the goal of helping adventurers discover the trek he fell in love with 25 years ago and sharing the secrets of the Sierra with curious travelers.
