The best big mountain days aren’t about who climbs the highest or who rides the hardest—they’re about making the most of every meter. That’s why we’re starting this one in Le Châble with a lift ticket and a game plan: skip hours of grinding climbs, access the high alpine directly, then let gravity do what it does best. Between the morning lift and afternoon beers, we’ll climb just enough to earn our views before dropping into 2,000 meters (6,562 feet) of pure descent, winding through diverse terrain that challenges and rewards in equal measure. We can bring our MTB skills or let an e-bike smooth the climbs—either way, this is big mountain riding done right.
Experience an epic mountain bike descent through the Swiss Alps on this full-day bike tour in Valais! Our adventure begins in Le Châble with a morning briefing and equipment check before taking the lift. From there, we’ll hop on our bikes and e-bikes and traverse stunning Alpine landscapes. We’ll climb 800 m (2,625 ft) on scenic trails up to a charming mountain hut, where we'll enjoy a hearty lunch (not included) and soak in panoramic views. Our afternoon holds the ultimate thrill: a spectacular 2,000-meter (6,562-foot) descent winding through diverse terrain back to Le Châble, where we celebrate our journey with refreshing drinks at the base. Embark on an unforgettable day trip full of scenery and adrenaline!
