Nestled between Split and Makarska in Dalmatia, one of the most iconic seaside regions in Croatia, Omis is a tourist location that’s somewhat underhyped but definitely over-delivers. Below the town, 12 miles of picturesque riviera with numerous fishing villages provide a perfect escape from the tourist-crowded streets. The smell of the Adriatic sea and its flora are addicting, and most people who visit seem to come back every year. However, many visitors overlook what may be one of the biggest perks of  Omiš — the abundance of adventure sports opportunities! Whether you’re in the mood for riding a zipline over the massive Cetina canyon, rafting or kayaking in the nearby lakes and streams, or free-climbing the magnificent Mirabela and Fortica cliffs, you’ll have a blast here! And the absolute standouts here must be the superb mountain biking routes, with numerous thrilling trails nestled between the sea and the mountains. Hop on your bike and experience everything Dalmatia’s rocks and gravel have to offer!

Dentist by profession, trailblazer by passion. Since he was a kid, Ivan’s trusty mountain bike has been his key to unlocking new worlds beyond the confines of his town. Entire Europe is his playground (Croatia, Austria, Italy, France, Greece… you name it), racking up adventures across the continent. Enduro racing (even at some famous events like Megavalanche) offered a challenge, but competition never truly captivated him. What truly fuels his passion are epic rides, capturing breathtaking photos, and sharing the journey (along with local cuisine and wine!) with friends.
