They are both wonderful instructors with great patience. We all had a wonderful time with QX and Kelly. Kelly made it fun for our group of beginners and I learned a few new skills with QX 1 on 1 guiding. Thanks for the encouragement and making the routes “easy”.

Long dong is such a beautiful spot, and we had two brilliant days out there climbing with Kelly! Brushed up our skills, had a tonne of fun and did some fantastic climbs. She was great at gauging our ability level and adapting each day to suit what we wanted to get out of it. And also took us to great local spots for delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners. And that’s not forgetting the best part of staying at the Bivy – Chong Chong. Hope to see you again on another crag some time 🙂

Had a great experience climbing with one of the guides from the bivy. We did trad climbing in Taiwan and learnt a ton + had a lot of fun. It also felt very safe. The location of the bivy itself was also nice, the village had good seafood and a 7/11. Highly recommend!!

We have booked a half day tour with Kelly as a guide and it was one of our best experiences. Despite the spot was more than scenic, Kelly was so kind, welcoming, funny and knowledgeable about the spot and climbing. We felt really safe with her and had such good conversations.
Also worth mentioning is her flexibility with the trip date and time. She did check the weather constantly due to high chances of rain and did update us moving closer to the climbing day. We were so lucky and found a slot with perfect conditions. Thank you so much! Much love, Max and Melanie

We booked a half day of guided climbing and couldn’t be more happy with the service. Kelly was an amazing guide, we felt challenged and safe during our climbing. We learned a lot and will definitely be coming back again when we visit Taiwan. We would highly recommend the Bivy services for anyone looking to get climbing outside!
