Local IFMGA Mountain Guide, Founder and Lead Guide of Bergmenn Mountain Guides
Jökull Bergmann is the founder and lead guide of Bergmenn Mountain Guides . Growing up on Iceland's Troll Peninsula, Jökull fell in love with the mountains and skiing at a very early age. His first season in the Alps at the age of 16 set him on the path of guiding. After traveling and gaining experience around the world, he became Iceland’s first and only IFMGA Mountain Guide. Today he runs ski touring and heli-ski trips all over the island.
