    Welcome to Venice
  • Today, we’ll explore the hills of Farra di Soligo, where we’ll find some of the most spectacular views of the Prosecco Hills. The walk starts at the foot of the hills and takes us all the way to the top. We will be walking through a gorge that ends in a small waterfall, and then through woods and vineyards. Some ascents will be steep.

Once on the ridge, we’ll walk on an undulating path to reach one of the gems of this area: the small Sanctuary of Collagù. After a picnic lunch, we will walk back to the Agriturismo.

    Hiking: 11.5 km / 7.1 mi

    Prosecco hills
  • Montello Hill is the first hill that can be seen when driving from Venice towards the mountains. We’ll start our walk from the bottom at Nervesa della Battaglia until we reach the remains of the Sant’Eustachio Abbey. Then, we’ll go to the Hill, which was ruled for centuries by the Venetian Republic and used to be a nursery for oak trees that were used to build ships in Venetian shipyards. The walk ends with a visit to a local winery and cheesemaker, where we’ll have a light lunch.

    Meals: Breakfast, lunch
    Hiking: 8 km / 5 mi
    Elevation: 280 m / 918.6 ft

  • Today we’ll explore another range of hills of the area, the Asolo Hills, which are the connection between the plain and the mountains. We’ll start our walk in Cornuda, and the undulating path will take us from one to the other end of the range. Then, we’ll have our packed lunch at the little chapel dedicated to St. George.

The walk finally leads us to Asolo, home for many artists and famous characters like Robert Browning and Freya Stark. The town is considered one of the most beautiful in the region due to its charming alleys and historical buildings. We’ll take a bus back to our accommodation.

    Meals: Breakfast, lunch

  • Starting from the town of Vidor, today we are walking on the new Camino delle Colline del Prosecco, a trail that goes across the UNESCO hills. We will walk a small part of it, which will take us from Vidor to the municipality of Valdobbiadene, one of the two towns famous for Prosecco production. The walk is characterized by steep ascents and descents, walking from one ridge to the other and finally going down to the valley that separates us from our winery.

Our lunch today is at Pietrovecchio winery. Here we will taste some local products and the incredible Prosecco. After lunch (with wine tasting), we’ll take a bus back to our accommodation.

  • For our last day, we’ll go on a relaxing walk around the Lakes of Revine. The two lakes of the Prosecco area were carved by the glaciers of the Ice Era. The walk is very pleasant, allowing us to enjoy the views. The two lakes are right between the hills and the mountains. Later, we’ll stop for lunch at a restaurant by the lake where they also serve pizza. The entrance allows us to use the swimming pool, and we can also swim in the lake.

This group is wonderful. I’ve gone on two of their tours and enjoyed both of them because of the groups on the tours and the care and support that the tour company takes for each of its tours.

I have been on a few adventures with WW and highly recommend them. I’ve had brilliant experiences. There is something very special about a group of random women meeting up to walk and discover new things together. Each time the groups have been mixed, warm and inviting. The guides have always been excellent. I’ve been cross country skiing, hill climbing and rambling. Each time I have come back highly inspired. A brilliant company and a wonderful way to ‘build memories’ and enjoy life.
