This is for the explorer who loves the thrill of a wild trail and the splash of a river but also really appreciates a hot shower and a plush hotel bed at the end of the day. Between our two coasts, the jungle spills into golden beaches and turquoise waters, all linked by a playground of hiking and biking trails. Over 8 days, we’re ditching the crowded tour buses to navigate the greenery via rafts and your own two feet. From the spray of the Pacuare’s rapids to the mist of the volcanic peaks, you’ll get to know our famous sloths and monkeys at a relaxed, pura vida pace. It’s the ultimate way to discover the raw heart of our nature without actually having to “rough it.”

We had an amazing holiday in Costa Rica. We did the tour with add ons to La Fortuna and Monteverde. Adventures included guided walks through the jungle, gently canoeing down the river, negotiating rapids on a raft, rappelling down waterfalls, biking down a volcano and zip lining. We ended with a few days to chill out at the beach. All the activities were well managed, including safety equipment and guidelines. We had expert guides who were welcoming and knowledgeable. The whole trip was well organised and went without a hitch. It has truly been a trip to remember. We loved it.

Awesome experience in CR! Randall helped us plan an amazing trip with a ton of fun, engaging activities. Carlos made sure we made it from one destination to the next, always sharing great insights and helping us to learn more about his country. We can’t say enough about how the guides were, I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, active trip to CR!

We had such an amazing time in Costa Rica! I hadn’t been abroad in decades and had so many questions and really no idea how to plan a trip. Randall was phenomenal! He set up a wonderful trip for us that was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. He responded to my millions of questions quickly, reminded us of things we had to do before travel, and helped us every step of the way.
