An unparalleled opportunity to hike vast open flower alpine meadows

Could not have been better. Starting with the breathtaking helicopter ride in, swooping in over the stunning mountain ridges and amazing vistas… our 5 days got better and better from moody clouds to pristine blue sky days, each with its own charm. Wildflowers in full bloom were almost unbelievable. It was hard not to evoke Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music when you head out in the vast open alpine meadows… The meals were off-the-charts great – unexpected in such a remote location. There’s even a great stock of good wines available by the bottle! The sauna was another unexpected treat, and fun to splash in the creek, then head back to heat up with steam. A great experience!

I can't wait to do it next year!

Just a very memorable experience! A treasure to be able to hike in the Purcells with an excellent guide and some good companions. The food was great as was the location of the Lodge. The weather was perfect and the views were spectacular!

Amazing Mountain Experience

Amazing experience at Purcell Lodge. The hiking was incredible and our guide Jason was very knowledgeable and accommodated the groups pace. Lots of wildlife including bears to see and the views were out of this world. The chef’s food was an event every time it was served. Lot’s of thought went into everything made and it was tasted amazing.

Perfect experience for our family including 90 year old mother

Perfect mountain lodge to take my 90 year old mother. She hiked over 10km above the tree line every day and yet did less than 300 meters vertical a day, just incredible to start so high at the lodge. Amazing food and comfortable rooms. A very special birthday surprise.

I can’t say enough good things ! The food was remarkable and plentiful. The staff from the host to the hiking guides were friendly and made you feel like family . I wish I had booked week instead of just a long weekend. I will definitely be back to visit

Worth a visit

A great trip at the lodge. The food was delicious and the guided hikes took us to some beautiful spots. The small group size allowed us to get to know the other hikers too.
This is definitely a lodge worth visiting if you enjoy backcountry hiking.
