Itinerary

Saddle up for a bike trip that serves up more than just great trails! This eight-day e-bike adventure combines the best mountain biking routes in Slovenia's Julian Alps with local food traditions and authentic culture. We'll ride from medieval Škofja Loka to mountain cheese farms, discover abandoned war remains and pristine lakes, and climb to a unique peak where three countries meet. With quality e-bikes, experienced guides, carefully chosen hotels, and daily breakfasts included, we're all set for a week of memorable rides and tasty discoveries in one of Europe's most stunning mountain regions.

  • Our adventure begins with an airport transfer to the most preserved medieval town in Slovenia, Škofja Loka. We’ll head to Hotel Zamorc, our home for the first 4 days. Once we settle in, we’ll get to know our guides, go through the program, and make a plan for the week in accordance with the weather forecast, terrain conditions, and group wishes.

Accommodation: Hotel Zamorc in Škofja Loka

Škofja Loka, a picturesque small town in Slovenia
  • On our first day, we will embark on a bike tour in the Poljane Valley, which is situated on the southern side of the Škofja Loka hills. We will cycle along the Rapallo border, which used to be a western defense line during World War II. The tour will be filled with breathtaking views and historical significance. We will end the day with cheese tasting at the Pustotnik cheese farm before returning to our accommodation.

The rest of the week will be planned based on our experience today. We will have the opportunity to get a sense of the bikes, the trails we feel comfortable on, and how much activity we prefer per day. This will allow our guides to get to know us better and tailor the tours for the rest of the week specifically to our preferences.
