A luxury cycling and sailing tour in Croatia is exactly what it sounds like—sun-soaked trails by day, a floating 5-star hotel by night, and the Adriatic as our backyard the entire week. With a small group of just eight guests and two local guides leading the way, we island-hop in total freedom, chasing pine-scented roads, quiet lanes, and centuries-old stone towns. The thousand islands of Croatia each have their own flavor—different landscapes, dishes, and stories, waiting to be explored. Our catamaran ties it all together, giving us comfort, space, and style as we drift from one unforgettable ride to the next. It’s pure ease, pure adventure, and Croatia at its most magical.

The adventure, day by day

Get ready for a week that feels like Croatia on VIP mode! With our small group on a luxury sailboat, we hop from Trogir to Brač, Hvar, Vis, and eventually Omiš, chasing sunshine, quiet roads, and the kind of island views that never get old. With two local guides on board, we slip into hidden bays, coastal villages, and lookout points most travelers sail straight past. And when the riding’s done, the fun keeps going—think swims at golden beaches, lazy sunsets over ancient stone towns, and dinners that turn into stories at local konobas, wineries, and waterfront bars. It’s adventure, relaxation, and pure Dalmatian good living rolled into one unforgettable week.

Day 1: Arrival
Seaside town on the island of Brač, Croatia

Make your way to the region of Dalmatia, marking the start of the tour proper. Have lunch before embarking on your trip to the island of Brač. After a safety briefing, board your yacht and head for Milna, a traditional Dalmatian village on Brač. Spend the afternoon sightseeing and enjoy a traditional dinner by the seaside.

Day 2: Brač

The island of Brač is home to Blaca Bay, a beautiful south-facing cove with pebbly beaches and clear waters. Here you’ll find a 500-year-old monastery called the Blaca Hermitage, a protected landmark crafted out of stone by Glagolitic monks fleeing the Turkish invasion.

After riding and sightseeing, it’s time for a swim! Then depart to the island of Hvar, where you’ll spend the night in Stari Grad, an ancient Greek settlement and the oldest town in Croatia.

Day 3: Hvar
Cycling on Hvar, sunny day

Today, you’ll ride the trail from Stari Grad to the town of Hvar, home to UNESCO-protected ancient Greek plains. The town of Hvar is one of Croatia’s best-known party hot spots. Spend the night there, or head directly for the island of Vis.

Day 4: Vis
Scenic view of Stiniva beach on the island of Vis

After a filling breakfast, choose how to spend your day. You can cycle around Vis, or kick back on the famous Stiniva Beach, situated in a beautiful cove enclosed by massive cliffs. Afterwards, you can visit one of the many post-WWII bunkers on the island before heading out for a wine tasting session in the evening.

Day 5: Back to Brač

Time to head back to Brač. Brač is home to Via Brachia, a bicycle route that connects the most beautiful sights and landmarks on the island. Well-marked and equipped with plenty of rest stops, this route running 400 meters above the sea will give you plenty of epic photo opportunities. Afterwards, try out some traditional dishes, home-made olive oil and wine before heading back to your boat.

Day 6: Omiš or Čiovo/Korčula
Dalmatian town of Omiš surrounded by mountains

One of the options for today is to head to Omiš, an ancient pirate town and Dalmatia’s MTB mecca! Here you can ride some terrific trails, enjoy thrilling rides, and drink one of the best beers in Croatia. Alternatively, this day can be taken into a totally different direction—Čiovo and Korčula, visits to these are possible as well! You’ll discuss this with your guide and your team once onboard.

Day 7: Split or Trogir
Aerial view of the town of Trogir in Dalmatia

From Omiš, ride to Split or the medieval town of Trogir, depending on how fit you feel. If you’re up for it, you can take an optional bike ride to Čiovo, an island near Trogir, or explore Marjan hill, a 400-ft (123 m) forest park with breathtaking panoramic views of Split and its surroundings.

Day 8: Farewell to Croatia
A high angle view of the Old Town of Trogir, with stone buildings and church in the foreground, while its newer buildings on the mainland are in the background divided by a channel of water containing yachts and tour boats, with a picturesque waterfront recreation area.

Disembark from your sailboat and head back to the airport. If you want to see one of the most beloved symbols of Croatia, stop by the Plitvice Lakes, whose stunning waterfalls are bound to win you over.

Please note that this itinerary is subject to change based on weather and other conditions. However, your guide will make sure to give you the best experience possible no matter what!

What to expect when you charter a sailboat?

Renting a private charter means stepping onto a luxurious floating home designed entirely around your group. Your catamaran, the stunning Saba 50, offers spacious lounges, elegant cabins with ensuite bathrooms, and the comforts of a high-end boutique stay. Every element is fully customized: pace, daily mileage, difficulty level, routes, swims, meals, and downtime—all shaped around your preferences and fitness.

Your skipper and two expert local guides handle everything on the water and on land. They’ll craft a bespoke itinerary, recommend the most scenic anchorages, guide you to quiet coves or lively beach towns, and ensure you’re always stocked with supplies. Privacy, adventure, food hotspots, nightlife—it’s all adjusted to your group’s style.

Once you share your preferred dates, we’ll send tailored pricing and available options. Before payment, you’ll receive a full charter agreement and invoice. The price includes two experienced MTB guides with deep local knowledge, an expert skipper, and 8 days of exploring Croatia by sailboat and mountain bike. You’ll stay 7 nights on a luxurious, spacious catamaran, enjoy traditional Croatian breakfasts each morning, and have 4 cooked meals arranged in any lunch-to-dinner ratio you prefer. Also included are fruit, snacks, and water for daily outings, water and juice on board, welcome drinks with local wine and craft beer, plus sheets and towels, harbour fees, and boat fuel.

Final price depends on dates, upgrades, and add-ons—and since the yacht comfortably accommodates up to 8 people, inviting family or friends not only elevates the experience but also reduces the cost per person.

Important note

Please note: this is a fully private MTB & sailboat experience. The catamaran comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests—and the more people you bring, the lower the cost per person becomes.

Smooth coastal roads, quiet island lanes, and sunlit viewpoints guide our journey through Dalmatia’s most beautiful islands—each one offering its own rhythm, scenery, and stories. Here are some of the places we’ll visit together.

      • Trogir — This tiny central Dalmatian town charms instantly with its old-world atmosphere and UNESCO-listed historic center. In your free time, wander Romanesque churches like St. Lawrence Cathedral, stroll the lively waterfront, or climb the Kamerlengo Fortress for views over the maze of medieval streets and the sparkling harbor.
      • Brač — Stretching over 24 miles, Brač is known for Bol, its cliff-backed villages, and the iconic Zlatni Rat Beach. Ride toward Vidova Gora for sweeping views of the golden shoreline, then visit the remarkable Blaca Hermitage—an entire stone monastery carved into the cliffs by Glagolitic monks in the 1500s.
      • Hvar — The sunniest island in the Adriatic blends ancient Greek heritage with lavender fields, secluded coves, and timeless stone towns. Cycle toward Stari Grad, one of Europe’s oldest settlements, sip wine in cliffside Sveta Nedjelja, and wrap up the day with a beach cocktail or a taste of Hvar’s vibrant nightlife.
      • Vis — Closed to the public for decades due to its military past, Vis now welcomes travelers with untouched beauty and stories hidden in its labyrinth of tunnels, bunkers, and submarine shelters. Ride through the town of Vis, learn about Komiža’s deep fishing traditions, and admire views of the tiny volcanic islet Jabuka on the horizon.
      • Omiš, Čiovo, or Korčula — Omiš sits where the Cetina River meets the sea, offering dramatic canyon scenery and a paradise of outdoor sports. Prefer a different feel? Čiovo brings gentle coastal roads and quiet bays, while Korčula offers vineyard-lined routes, old-town charm, and sweeping Adriatic views. The exact stop is chosen together once on board.
  • The best thing about this cycling & sailing tour is that it’s a whole lot easier with trusty e-bikes! Your guides get that this is your vacation and you should enjoy it without overdoing it. All that’s required is that you know how to ride a bike, and everything else can be fully customized. Still, keep in mind that you’ll be cycling consistently for a week.

Most of the days you will cross 10-30 miles (15-50 km) with ascents up to 1,500 ft (500 m). But with two experienced guides onboard, you can explore different types and levels of biking trails in the area. Split into two groups and mix & match the routes according to your skill and preference!

If you want to take a day or two off, feel free to stay on the catamaran or go on another outdoor adventure like hiking or kayaking (not included in the cost of the trip).

  • Renting a charter boat means you have the freedom to make your own schedule and go wherever the wind and desire take you. Charter offers additional flexibility and custom itinerary adapted to your group, as well as a chance to upgrade to a bigger sailboat. You have a choice between three superb boats: the Saba 50 and Aura 51, accommodating 8 guests throughout 4 double cabins, or Lagoon 46, accommodating 6 guests in 3 double cabins.

Your guides and skipper will help you create an itinerary that suits your travel needs and wishes. They will handle the boat for you and recommend routes and places to visit. They know where you can anchor and get supplies, find privacy or enjoy the Croatian party scene.

Let us know which dates work best for you and we will give you an estimate of the prices and options for that period.

The final price of the tour depends on the chosen dates, possible upgrades and add-ons. Invite your family and friends who also love boating and reduce the cost per person!

  • Yes! You can come with your friends and family and enjoy the Dalmatian coast together. Your children or other members of the family that don’t want to join cycling trous can stay on the boat and relax under the Mediterranean sun or explore the shore on foot while you ride. There’s no age minimum if you’re coming on a private tour.

If you’d rather enjoy the thrill of mountain biking, Bike & Sail With Style in Croatia might just be what you’re looking for. It’s an adventure led by the same guides, where you’ll get to visit the same islands as with this tour.

  • Dalmatia’s mild Mediterranean climate boasts perfect weather year-round. Tours are scheduled to fit with the seasons and ideal cycling conditions. When the weather does not cooperate, your guide will know the correct course of action to take. Whether that’s shifting to a more favorable location or postponing until conditions approve, your guide will know just what to do. In the event of predictably bad weather, you will be contacted prior to the trip to discuss suitable alternatives.

  • Here’s what you’ll need:
