Accommodation: Sóti Lodge
Our home for six days and nights will be Sóti Lodge. Accommodating up to 15 guests, the lodge features a welcoming dining area and living space where we’ll unwind and enjoy delicious, nourishing meals. We can enjoy evening stretching sessions and floating therapy in the pool—perfect for soothing tired muscles after a day of adventure. Located next to the lodge is Barðslaug swimming pool, a local gathering place since 1895 originally built over a natural geothermal spring to provide swimming lessons and warmth during the cold winters. Apart from a geothermal pool, we’ll also have access to a hot tub and a sauna.
We’ll stay in one of seven cozy, stylish ensuite rooms. If you’d like to stay in a private room, simply add the single supplement to your booking upon checkout and enjoy a more private experience.

The best ski days end with a cold beer and a hot soak. The best weeks? They go like this—chasing powder towards glistening Arctic waters, feasting on gourmet meals that hit just right, and soaking in a geothermal pool that’s been steaming since before our great-grandparents were born. For six days, Iceland’s Troll Peninsula is ours to shred—think steep couloirs, wide-open bowls, and not a lift in sight. Just our skis, our legs, and a guide who knows every secret stash. We’ll ski hard, eat well, sleep deep—then wake up and do it all over again.
Ready for unforgettable backcountry skiing in Iceland’s rugged Troll Peninsula? We’ll spend six days exploring pristine slopes, carving through steep couloirs, and riding wide-open bowls with the Arctic Ocean as our backdrop. Our expert guide will take us to the best spots, adjusting each day based on snow and weather conditions. After each thrilling day, we’ll return to our cozy lodge, where we’ll enjoy delicious breakfasts, packed lunches, and three-course dinners to cap off each day. Relax in the hot tub or unwind in the geothermal pool next door, then do it all over again tomorrow.

Soti is Northern Iceland’s hidden gem. I didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay. The location is perfect for exploring the north, the surrounding nature is endless, there’s a surf break minutes away, and so so many ski lines. Olof’s cooking is out of this world, and the entire staff made us feel like part of their family. A place to stay, relish, and share moments in this beautiful region. I highly recommend it and know I’ll be back.
