There are four full days of heliskiing included in the trip.
A typical day begins with a hearty breakfast at the lodge between 7 and 9 am, followed by a briefing with our guide to review the plan for the day and current conditions. By 09:45, the helicopter is ready to take us out for an exhilarating day of heliskiing across the Arctic terrain. We generally cover approximately 15,000 vertical feet per day (4,500 m), which averages about 7–8 runs.
At midday, we’ll break for a scenic mountain lunch with a view before continuing our runs. We return to the lodge between 3 and 4 pm, where you can enjoy après-ski snacks and take advantage of the geothermal pool, hot tub, or sauna. The day concludes at 8 pm with a wonderful three-course dinner served at the lodge.
A fantastic lodge with amazing food! It has a real friendly vibe and relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed our nights there, and were able to access some great backcountry skiing. Thanks Ólöf and Meg for a great experience.
