The adventure, day by day

Select this option if you'd like to stay at an apartment. The itinerary and everything else remains the same.

Over eight days, we dive deep into the Lyngen Alps, staying put in a single beautiful fjord-side lodge. We arrive together in Tromsø, transfer north, and spend six full ski days chasing the very best snow, lines, and weather around Lyngen without any need to pack up or move hotels. Every night we return to our comfortable home base with sauna, hot tubs, and tasty food. The itinerary stays flexible—summits, glacier traverses, remote couloirs, even boat-accessed objectives are all on the table, always chosen for the group’s skills and the best possible conditions. We wrap up back in Tromsø, recharged and full of stories.

Day 1: Arrival in Tromsø and transfer to Lyngen

Arrive in Tromsø, gather up at the airport, and hop straight into our rental vehicle for the drive north to Lyngen Experience. The scenic route sets the tone—a rugged coastline, vast fjords, and that first sight of mountains dropping into the sea. Settle into your waterfront room, shake off the travel, and get ready to dive into Arctic adventure.

Day 2: First ski day—kick off with classic Lyngen lines

We get our bearings with a classic Lyngen tour—perhaps Russelvfjellet, where open snowfields drop straight to the fjord, or another friendly summit. It’s a great way to warm up the legs and test equipment, with incredible views all around and a flexible pace to suit everyone. Back at the lodge, recover in the sauna or outdoor hot tub overlooking the water.

We check in on current snow, weather, and group energy, then target a fresh objective—maybe a classic like Storgalten or one of Lyngen’s quieter summits. The mix of big lines, playful powder, and wild Arctic surroundings never disappoints. After another adventure, it’s back to the lodge for shared stories and good food.

Today we might step it up with a longer tour—think Tafeltinden, with glaciated terrain and true alpine scale. If avalanche and group conditions allow, perhaps we aim for a wilder couloir or technical descent. The fjord views, shimmering ice, and winter silence up high? Unbeatable. Recover those muscles with sauna and a soak on your return.
