We meet at Ibiza Port at the ticket office and take the morning ferry across to Formentera—the smallest of the Balearic Islands. After dropping our bags at the hotel, we set off from the island’s main port and begin tracing the coastline on foot. It’s a gentle introduction to the trail, a chance to settle into the rhythm of the walk and get the first proper feel of the island. In the evening, we transfer back to the hotel to rest up for the days ahead.

After I had done several walks with these guides, which I absolutely loved, I signed up for the Around The Island of Formentera in 4 days. What a spectacular walk!! Loved all the amazing views and the great group of people. Was a tough 4 days for me as I am not used to such hikes, but everyone was so supportive for each other, so I made it, got the medal 🙂 and I feel really proud. I would really recommend this walk as any of the other walks you can do with Walking Ibiza. The guides are always really enthusiastic and give so much information about everything you see during your walk, it’s really amazing ánd it’s a great way of meeting lots of new friends.
