In order to join this snowshoeing tour in the Bernese Oberland, good fitness is required. Snowshoeing isn’t difficult, but you do need to be able to walk 4-5 hours per day (excluding breaks), three days in a row.

Snowshoeing is easy and anyone can pick it up quickly! As the saying goes, “if you can walk, you can snowshoe”. If you’ve never gone snowshoeing before, heading out with a guide is your best bet. They’ll take care of the planning, introduce you to the basics, and go through safety and correct snowshoeing techniques with you before heading out on the tour. They also have the experience and avalanche training to keep you safe.

The price for this snowshoeing tour in the Bernese Oberland is based on twin-share rooms, but a single occupancy room can be arranged at an additional fee. Let us know before booking if interested.
The starting point of your snowshoeing tour in the Bernese Oberland is Innereriz, Eriz. To get there, most people fly into Zurich Airport (ZRH). From there, you can take a shuttle service, public transport, or rent a car to reach Innereriz—it will generally take you 2 to 2.5 hours.
You will meet your guide on Day 1 of the tour, most likely in the morning. We recommend arriving in Innereriz (or somewhere nearby) at least a day prior to the adventure.
