Once you get on the powder highway in Norway, you’ll never want to get off it. A 9-day journey will take us through spectacular landscapes of Fjord Norway and four resorts with plenty of untouched powder snow. We’ll spend our days backcountry skiing in Voss, Myrkdalen, Sogndal, and Stranda, resorts with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and fjords, with fewer crowds, and with seemingly endless wilderness areas. We’ll have enough time to relax our sore muscles in spas of our lodgings and explore Norwegian culture and food. And by switching up locations every few days, we will witness some of Western Norway’s natural gems, such as the second largest fjord in the world or the world’s longest road tunnel. With Norse Gods on our side, we might even be able to see the ethereal Northern Lights!

Itinerary

Embark on a thrilling 9-day road and ski escapade, which kicks off amidst enchanting fjords! You will traverse breathtaking landscapes of Western Norway, also known as Fjord Norway, and spend your days in ski resorts which have plenty of powder and not a lot of people. All transportation and accommodation during the tour is organized by your guides, so you’re in for a carefree holiday. Get ready for a dazzling journey filled with powdery mountains, Norwegian charms, and wonders of nature!

  • This trip is fully based in traditional Norwegian ski resorts. But these aren’t the usual, crowded resorts you might be thinking of. You can expect far less crowds than usual and more fresh powder, all to yourself. Though you’ll be based in resorts, you will go backcountry skiing most of the time.

  • Welcome to Bergen, the Gateway to the Fjords! Your guides will pick you up from the Bergen Airport and transfer you to Voss. You’ll have a welcome tour and get to know your guides. Check into your accommodation for the night and get some rest for the upcoming days.

    Voss in Norway
  • Spend these two full days skiing at the Voss Resort located in the heart of Fjord Norway. This resort has something for everyone, whether you’d like to take it easy or you’re looking for a real challenge.

    Skiing at Voss Resort
  • Pack your things—it’s time for a new resort! Transfer to Myrkdalen Resort and settle into your accommodation. Use the rest of the day for skiing.

Transfer to the next resort in Norway
  • Enjoy your second day at the Myrkdalen Resort before moving onto the next one. This resort features terrain for all levels of difficulty, including great off-piste areas!

    Fjord Norway skiing
  • After breakfast, pack up and head to the Songdal Resort, where you will enjoy a half day of skiing. Later on you will transfer to Stranda Resort and check in.

Skier in a resort in Fjord Norway
  • For your final two days of skiing, you’ll spend time in Stranda Resort, known as the powder skiers’ choice in western Norway.

    Stranda, Norway
  • After an Ålesund farewell tour, your guides will drop you off at Vigra Airport. If you’d like to stay longer and continue exploring on your own, just ask your guides for some recommendations!
