Prepare for a very early wake up in order to do an early morning wildlife drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness! After the drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and proceed to Ngorongoro Crater, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. This crater spreads for 265 sq km and has 610 m/ 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah’s ark, containing almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.
Optional: Visit the Olduvai Gorge, a historical site where the fossils of Homo sapiens and Zinjathropus were discovered in 1954 by Dr. Leakey. The first upright human footprints were discovered at Laetoli site, estimated to be 3.5 million years old.

We had five beautiful days on a luxury safari trip. Our driver/ guide Chudi did an amazing job. One of us had a birthday while we were on the safari. Chudi prepared her birthday and found a Masai dress for her, we were very happy because we had never done a birthday party of that design. He was very kind, friendly, knowledgeable and gave us lots of information. He did the best to make sure we saw everything we needed. Thanks to him we saw the big five. Our accommodation in karatu and Serengeti was amazing. We are glad to have chosen Rashad Adventure Limited. All communication from beginning was excellent.highly recommend Rashad Adventure.
