The Dalmatian region of the often-talked-about Croatian seaside is famous for its excellent food, quality wine, and most of all — breathtaking nature. Croatia has vast natural diversity, with eight national parks and 11 nature parks, many of which are accessible by bike via some excellent MTB routes. And thanks to the colossal Velebit mountain sprawling along the Croatian coastline, some of the most spectacular trails can be found in the Dalmatia region. Most of the routes interconnect with the mountains — a perfect mix of the Mediterranean geography and Dalmatian flora and the panoramic mountainous views you might expect from rides on much higher altitudes. There’s also a sense of peace and tranquility — while the cities are crowded with tourists, you often get to have the biking trails all to yourselves! Head to Omis and experience the Croatian wilderness the right way. And try some local beers while you’re at it!

  • Become a better rider on the Dalmatian backcountry trails

  • Test your skills on miles upon miles of unique Croatian gravel

  • The trails provide an excellent view of the riviera’s beautiful Adriatic coast

Things to know

  • 57hours is committed to providing safe outdoor adventure experiences. We require all guides using our platform to have a COVID-19 safety plan and to make the details of that plan accessible to travelers. In most cases, group sizes will be reduced, guides will avoid overcrowded locations, and other safety measures will be met depending on the location and activity.

We also expect clients to respect local regulations and take measures to protect themselves, guides and the communities they’re traveling to. For more information on COVID-19 measures in Omis, Croatia, please refer to the Croatian COVID-19 tracker and the Croatian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ travel guidelines.

Please contact us if you have any questions or require further information. We are happy to provide you with the most up-to-date information!
