Top three reasons to go mountain biking on Perun hill
Become a better rider on the Dalmatian backcountry trails
Test your skills on miles upon miles of unique Croatian gravel
The trails provide an excellent view of the riviera’s beautiful Adriatic coast
The Dalmatian region of the often-talked-about Croatian seaside is famous for its excellent food, quality wine, and most of all — breathtaking nature. Croatia has vast natural diversity, with eight national parks and 11 nature parks, many of which are accessible by bike via some excellent MTB routes. And thanks to the colossal Velebit mountain sprawling along the Croatian coastline, some of the most spectacular trails can be found in the Dalmatia reguin. Most of the routes interconnect with the mountains — a perfect mix of the Mediterranean geography and Dalmatian flora and the panoramic mountainous views you might expect from rides on much higher altitudes. There’s also a sense of peace and tranquility — while the cities are crowded with tourists, you often get to have the biking trails all to yourselves! Head to Omis and experience the Croatian wilderness the right way. And try some local beers while you’re at it!
