The classic Garibaldi Neve ski traverse isn’t just for winter—it’s a stunning adventure on foot in summer too! Mt. Garibaldi is a dormant stratovolcano towering above Squamish, BC, at an elevation of 2,678 m (8,766 ft). Its northern and eastern flanks are cloaked by the Garibaldi Névé, a stunning snowfield fed by glaciers. Our route circles the peak—starting on the southern side, passing the lava-strewn Opal Cone, crossing the glaciated Névé, and descending Brohm Ridge to a waiting vehicle. We’ll camp on the mountain and enjoy 3 days in the wilderness, and off the grid.
