Born in Minnesota, Jake spent his childhood exploring the rivers, lakes, and forests of his native state. Having obtained his Parks and Recreation degree, he moved to Utah to work in wilderness therapy, which made him fall in love with the red rock backcountry. Now, as part of Zion Guide Hub, he leads hiking, climbing, canyoneering, and e-biking tours in Zion National Park.
