Fredrick grew up in Tanzania around Kilimanjaro hearing old tales about the mountain and its wonders. After his first summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, he fell in love with the lifestyle and decided to become a mountain guide. Frederick started Eco-Africa Climbing to support people achieve similar life-enhancing experiences. As a local, Frederick is committed to benefiting his community and has partnered with the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project to ensure fair treatment for porters and other mountain staff.
