Anthony Leong grew up in Macau and has always tried to seek out opportunities that would get him closer to rock climbing. When he moved to New York and found it hard to find a climbing partner, he decided to take it upon himself to “create” someone he could go climbing with. Through this process, Anthony discovered his love for teaching and co-founded an Asian climbing group called “Project iii”. He is the Education Chair of the Appalachian Mountain Club in NY/NJ, and an aspiring Rock Guide. In the years to come, he will be working to satisfy the requirements to become an AMGA certified instructor.
