Itinerary

Embark on the ultimate climbing adventure in Mallorca. Spend an epic week tackling the island's most iconic Deep Water Soloing (DWS) spots, including the legendary Es Pontàs and Cala Varques. Scale scenic sport climbing crags like Cala Magraner, sail along Mallorca's breathtaking southern coastline and dive into the crystal-clear waters for snorkeling and relaxation. By day, explore pristine coves and picturesque harbors; by night, unwind aboard a cozy catamaran. This is your chance to experience world-class climbing, Mediterranean charm, and unforgettable adventure—all in one incredible trip. Don’t miss this perfect blend of thrill and tranquility!

  • You will meet your guide and group at the Palma port at an agreed time. Be sure to book your flights accordingly.

  • We will wake up early and sail along the coasts of Mallorca in the morning, arriving at Cala Ferrera Bay by noon. This spot is perfect for deep-water soloing. There are also many easier routes for beginners in Santanyí. We’ll find endless options here: crimps, pockets, slopers, overhanging walls, and vertical cliffs. We will spend the first night in this area.

  • Today, we will anchor right in front of the beautiful Varques beach, a favorite for climbers visiting the island. Here, we’ll take on a fantastic selection of routes: some short and easy (up to 10-15 m/32-50 ft), others longer and more challenging. Cala Magraner, a classic sport climbing crag is very close, so it is also an option.

  • On day 4, we will head to Porto Cristo, a picturesque fishing village with pristine turquoise waters. Spending the day here will allow us to enjoy the sun, swim, hike, or climb at Cova del Diablo and Torre dels Falcons. These are some of the best deep water soloing areas in the world, so we’ll make sure to take full advantage of them!

  • Once again, we’ll anchor in another exquisite area, Porto Colom. It’s the perfect spot for both beginners and experienced climbers trying deep-water soloing for the first time: some will enjoy easier routes, while others can attempt longer, tougher climbs.

  • Day 6 starts with a soothing sail to Sa Nau Bay. In this spectacular bay, we’ll get to try some of the best climbing in Mallorca!

  • No good Mallorca climbing holiday wouldn’t be complete without visiting the famous Es Pontàs arch. Chris Sharma made it famous with his King Line video and project. There are also plenty of easier routes in the area. On the way back, we’ll stop at Porto Pi, a site of interest for the climbing community, as rock climbing started there in the early 1980s. We will return to the Palma port at 6 pm, and have a farewell dinner at a restaurant in downtown Palma. For those who prefer to go sport climbing, we can also go to Cala Santanyí.

  • The adventure has come to an end. We will pack our bags and leave the boat by 9 am. If you’d like to stay longer in Mallorca, feel free to ask your guides for some recommendations.

  • A 30% deposit to secure your place is due upon booking. The remaining amount is paid 3 months (90 days) prior to departure. Once the trip is confirmed by the guide, the cancellation policy stated below applies:

      • 90% refunded (minus the booking fees and the eventual non-reimbursable expenses the company paid to organize the tour) if the cancellation is notified in writing up to 90 days before the first day of the tour.
      • 50% refunded (minus the booking fees and the eventual non-reimbursable expenses the company paid to organize the tour) if the cancellation is notified in writing between 89 and 60 days before the first day of the tour.
      • 0% refunded (or 100% paid) if the cancellation is notified in writing by less than 59 days before the first day of the tour.

If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, Kookoo Climb will:
    a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), the cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client). Under exceptional circumstances, the company could, however, decide at his sole discretion to refund the client (minus the transaction fee). If due to weather conditions, mooring at a marina is required, the additional expenses will be shared among all participants.
