Margrét Blöndal and Sölvi Signhildar-Úlfsson are part of the experienced team behind Icelandic Mountain Guides, combining deep local knowledge with a passion for Iceland’s wild landscapes. Raised in East Iceland, Margrét brings over a decade of experience designing and organizing trips across the country, while Sölvi is a seasoned hiking guide and Wilderness First Responder who spends his summers exploring Icelandic and Greenlandic terrain. Both are deeply connected to the Icelandic Highlands and the stories embedded in the land. When they’re not guiding or coordinating adventures, you’ll find them out in the mountains, exploring new valleys and fjords, and sharing their love for the wilderness.
