Itinerary

This all-women hiking escape is designed to feel supportive, restorative, and genuinely fun. Over four days in the mountains of Montana, we explore beautiful trails at a comfortable pace, share meals and stories, and return each evening to a warm, welcoming place to rest. With expert guides leading the way and every detail taken care of, the focus stays on movement, connection, and enjoying time outdoors—whether that means hiking, stretching, journaling, or simply soaking in the scenery together.

  • We begin with a relaxed, scenic hike in a quiet corner of northwest Montana, designed to warm up the legs and ease into the rhythm of the trip. The trail winds past several glacially carved lakes, with calm reflections and frequent opportunities to spot waterfowl. We hike at an unhurried pace, taking time to pause, snack, and enjoy the setting. In the afternoon, we settle into the historic Belton Chalet, just steps from the entrance to Glacier National Park, and enjoy a relaxed evening together.

Those looking for a longer challenge can continue on to Doris Summit, gaining panoramic views across Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Both options reconnect for a shared descent. In the evening, we return to the Belton Chalet for a group dinner and a relaxed night in this classic mountain setting.

At the lake, we enjoy time along the shoreline and a relaxed lunch. Guests may opt into a wilderness painting session led by an experienced instructor — a creative, low-pressure way to connect with the landscape. In the evening, there’s an optional boat ride on Lake McDonald before we gather for dinner at Lake McDonald Lodge.

Lydia was the best guide and so caring. She stayed back with me when I was struggling. She talked with me to distract me and gave me every encouragement along the way to make it to the mountain peaks.
