We’ll begin each day with an early morning yoga practice followed by a hearty breakfast before the day’s hiking adventure unfolds. We’ll walk beautiful mountain trails, averaging approximately 15 km / 9.3 mi per day. We’ll savor local Asturian cuisine, sample aromatic cheeses, and sip the traditional beverage, Sidra Asturianu, a cider made from locally grown apples.
We’re going to be trekking through scenic gorges and alongside babbling brooks; dining in local taverns, exploring 10th-century churches, and relaxing under Spain’s oldest yew tree, El Tiexo, planted more than 1,000 years ago in a sacred meadow.
In the late afternoon, we’ll journey deep into yoga’s restorative practice to rejuvenate our trekking legs before enjoying lovely home-cooked dinners prepared by the owners of Fuentes de Lucia Hotel.

Because I had such a fabulous walk this summer (Asturias Adventures), I am now seriously thinking of your Chartres trip from Paris. It’s amazing how one gets hooked on Spanish Steps trips!
