Whether it’s hitting the trails or taking a day to relax and rejuvenate, this trip is designed for balance, fun, and plant-based cuisine. We can also arrange massages for additional cost. Come recharge with us in one of Spain’s most beautiful regions!

  • Your guides will pick you up at Seville airport, where you should arrive by 4pm. We’ll head to the Hacienda around 5pm. Once we’re there, we’ll meet the rest of the group and have a relaxed dinner together. Afterward, we’ll discuss the plan for the next seven days.

  • We’ll set off on an easy, flat hike into the heart of the Natural Park. Our goal is to reach El Pinsapar, an ancient forest that’s been around since the last ice age. This forest is one of a kind, and our guide will share all the cool details about it. It’s also one of the most protected areas in Spain, so if we’re lucky, we might spot some wildlife, like deer, mountain goats, and birds. It’s definitely going to be a highlight of the trip! We’ll wrap up the day with a packed lunch together. Alternatively, you can join a yoga class in the afternoon—all yoga sessions for the rest of our stay here are optional, but they’re just a fabulous option to stretch out the muscles after hiking!

    Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
    Hiking: 10 km / 6.2 mi
    Accommodation: Hacienda Molino Nuoevo

  • We’ll follow the river into the stunning La Garganta Verde canyon in Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park. The path takes us through a vibrant forest, a true biodiversity hotspot, with our guides sharing cool ecological and historical insights along the way.

Next, we’ll dip into the crystal-clear “fairy pools” hidden within the canyon. It’s a magical spot you can swim or wade through. If swimming’s not your thing, no worries, you can meet us in Zahara. We’ll finish the day with a stroll up to Zahara’s beautiful white town, and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can hike up to the castle for panoramic views of the Sierra! Yoga class is an option in the afternoon.

    Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
    Hiking: 12 km / 7.4 mi
    Elevation: +400 m / +1,312 ft
    Accommodation: Hacienda Molino Nuoevo

  • Today, the choice is yours. You can explore the local town Algodonales or simply relax and unwind at the Hacienda. Each evening, we’ll discuss the next day’s activities with our hosts and guides, so if you prefer, this could be your rest day on the 6th day. Everything is flexible, and our guides will adjust based on what works for us.

    Accommodation: Hacienda Molino Nuoevo

Rest day at Hacienda Molino Nuoevo
  • Following breakfast, we’re going to explore Ronda, a city that’s been home to Spanish poets and bullfighters since the 19th century. We’ll dive into its rich history, from Roman to Moorish to Christian influences, and check out the oldest bullfighting ring in the world. After that, you’ll have some free time to wander through the charming streets, browse local shops, or take in more scenic spots around the city.

You can either bring a packed lunch or grab a bite at a local restaurant. Or you can join a yoga class. If you’d rather chill, you’re welcome to stay and relax at the Hacienda—it’s totally up to you!

Once we reach the canyon, you’ll be amazed by the towering 300m cliffs and the stunning change from Mediterranean forest to the biodiverse riparian forest. Keep an eye out for vultures soaring above!

After soaking it all in, we’ll make our way back along the same path. The return hike is a bit steep, but we’ll take it slow and enjoy the breathtaking views along the way. Yoga class is possible!

And the views from the top will be totally worth it!

This is definitely one of the most authentic hikes of the week! If you’d rather skip the climb, you can stay in Algodonales and stroll through the town to soak up the local Spanish vibes.

This was my first trip abroad with Walking Women. Every detail is taken care of; the accommodation has so much character and is so comfortable; the walks were wonderful; the places were beautiful. The group and our lovely guide were so friendly and so much fun. I felt as if I had made new friends and it came to an end all too soon. I’m looking forward to my next trip with Walking Women!
