In the morning, cross over to the nearby island of Šipan, the largest one of the Elaphiti islands, yet still quite small. This is a great place for your first bike tour and to get used to riding in a group. Get back to the yacht and set sail towards the green island of Mljet. Mljet is 70% covered with dense woodlands, and it’s the most forested island in the Mediterranean region. Even Homer, the legendary Greek poet, mentioned Mljet in his epic “Odyssey” poem. He made it the home of the Calypso nymph and the Greek king Odysseus, who, unable to resist Calypso, stayed on Mljet for seven years. Arrive in the harbor of Pomena, enjoy a round tour on your bike through the Mljet National Park. Night is spent in the harbor of Pomena on Mljet.

During breakfast, a short cruise brings you to the harbor of Trstenik on Pelješac. Pelješac can be recognized from far away with its monumental 3,280-foot (1,000-meter) high Sv. Ilija mountain range. This is also a famous wine region (featuring the famous local wines Plavac and Dingač), where vineyards can be found firmly rooted into steep hills. Today’s cycling takes you along the coastline from Trstenik to Orebić where a boat will wait with a delicious lunch (a short section is ridden on gravel roads to avoid traffic of the busy main road). Set off towards Korčula island and stop in the city of Korčula, a city competing with Venice for the honor of being the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Spend the evening wandering through the fishbone-shaped old city (designed to reduce the effects of wind and sun, providing its citizens with sheltered and comfortable accommodation), and soak up the atmosphere. A guided city tour will give you a good overview of the city and its interesting history.

Leaving Korčula behind, enjoy a breakfast cruise to the island of Vis with a possible swim stop from the boat before arrival. Vis is the furthermost inhabited island from mainland Croatia. Its history goes 2,300 years back, when it was a Greek colony called Issa. Due to its strategic location, it was a military zone until 1995, prohibited for foreign tourists—but today, you have the opportunity to explore this lovely island by bike. From the town of Vis, cycle once around the entire island with a coffee stop in the harbor of Komiža. The night is spent in the harbor of Vis.

The day starts with a relaxing cruise to Hvar town on the eponymous island. Make use of the time before the bike tour begins and go for a stroll through the wonderful town. Marvel at the magnificent Renaissance Square and enjoy the view up from the Spanish Fortress, rising high above the town. Today’s bike tour takes you from Hvar town up a steady climb through lavender fields and cute hamlets all the way to the harbor town of Jelsa on the other side of the island. After ice cream and coffee in Jelsa, continue your ride through the picturesque town of Vrboska and through ancient Greek plains, now a protected UNESCO heritage site, to the artistic village of Stari Grad where your boat is anchored.
Distance: 24 miles / 40 km

In the morning, cruise to the island of Brač, famous for its radiant, precious limestone that was used in part for the White House in Washington as well as for the construction of the German Reichstag building in Berlin. Once there, cycle from Milna to the charming harbor town of Pučišća (internationally known for its stone masonry college). Climbing your way over the island offers spectacular views across the Dalmatian coast. Along the way, take time to interact with the locals before continuing along the coast from Postira to Pučišća, where the boat waits for lunch and final cruise to Split. Once you reach this UNESCO world heritage city, take a guided city tour. Discover the Palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian and learn about its transformation into the city that it is today. A cheerful evening meal on board provides the chance to party and celebrate the wonderful week behind you.

Due to safety regulations on the ship, it is not allowed to bring your own e-bike. By renting it with your guides, you will get high-quality, fully serviced rental bikes perfect for the terrain of this tour. You can bring your own bike seat and pedals, and your guides will be happy to assist you in attaching these to your rental bikes.
It is not advisable to bring your own tour bike, as the pace is oriented towards e-bike riders. If you want to bring your own bike on the trip, it’s recommended you bring a bike that meets the technical requirements to keep up the pace with the higher speed of e-bikes. In addition, your bike will need to have good tires (e.g. Gravel Bike or Cyclocross Bike). Before traveling, please check the condition of brakes, gears, and tires as well as bringing repair kits and essential spare parts (e.g. inner tube). Your bike must be in top technical condition. Please keep in mind that transporting your own bike will result in additional costs when flying.
Wearing a helmet is mandatory and it’s recommended you bring your own, well-fitted helmet. Rental helmets are available, but in a limited capacity, so reservation is required should you need it.
E-bikes
All rental e-bikes are high quality pedelecs, most of which are fitted with Bosch motors with extra battery range. They are characterized by their relatively light weight and great components. Some of the fleet is equipped with other motor systems. They are a true set of wings for anyone who needs a little ‘tail wind’ to make their ride that little bit more enjoyable.
Gravel bikes
Gravel and cyclocross rental bikes can be ridden over a variety of terrain. These bikes run perfectly on smooth asphalt surfaces as well as on gravel trails. The frames are extremely robust while still light. The relatively wide tires provide good traction when cycling on loose surfaces. Cyclocross bikes allow for adventurous rides without compromise.
