  • This 5-day Mont Blanc e-MTB journey pairs serious alpine riding with the comforts that keep it fun and sustainable. Starting and finishing in Chamonix, we cross France, Switzerland, and Italy on trails chosen for flow, views, and ride quality, not brute suffering. The e-MTB smooths out the long climbs, unlocking high passes and grin-worthy descents without turning the week into a grind. Between big mountain days, there’s time for quiet villages, dangerously good regional food, and nights in very comfortable alpine hotels.

    • We start in Chamonix with a detailed briefing before riding out toward Switzerland on high alpine trails with constant views of Mont Blanc. The route moves through alpine meadows, forests, and panoramic ridges before descending into Verbier. It’s a strong opening day that sets the tone for the week with big scenery and rewarding descents.

      Autumn in Chamonix
    • Riding above Verbier, the day features sweeping views of Grand Combin and the Mont Blanc massif, with flowing descents and classic alpine singletrack. The sense of scale grows as we climb higher into true alpine terrain.

      E-bikers on a trail
    • We leave Switzerland behind and descend into Italy’s Aosta Valley on ancient mountain paths and village trails. The scenery shifts noticeably, with warmer tones, stone villages, and a slower rhythm. After lunch, a short vehicle shuttle sets us up for a long final descent into La Thuile and a well-earned evening of recovery.

    • The final day links remote valleys and high-altitude trails back toward Chamonix, closing the full Mont Blanc loop. Views open and close as we move through varied terrain, with Mont Blanc gradually reappearing as the backdrop. It’s a satisfying finish that ties the entire journey together.

    • Yes. The e-MTB makes long climbs far more enjoyable and opens up bigger terrain without exhausting you, but you’ll still need solid bike handling skills on the downhills. If you regularly ride intermediate trails and enjoy technical variety, you’ll thrive here.

Because the Alps can be technically challenging in some sections, it’s recommended that you regularly practice mountain biking for at least half a year, or engage in sports frequently.

This journey is about building on the skills you already have and putting them to work in some of the most spectacular mountain terrain in Europe.

    • Here’s a list of the equipment you need to bring:
